Mr. Pisanupon Uthokphachan, CEO of K-Ha Public Company Limited, revealed that the company's policy aims to elevate low-income and vulnerable groups to achieve job security and increased household income. This will involve expanding collaboration with partners who are experts in various professions to provide training for residents in the K-Ha housing projects. The focus will be on six professions: organic agriculture, livestock, community services, small-scale industries, retail-wholesale centers, and markets, depending on the suitability of the community's location.

The operational approach will focus on research and developing suitable and easy-to-understand curricula, enabling participants to apply the knowledge beneficially. Additionally, training sessions, seminars, and activities will be organized to enhance skills that support employment. Coordination with experts and scholars will be established to support various academic aspects of the project, promoting careers for residents and enabling them to achieve sustainable self-sufficiency.

Earlier this month, the company collaborated with Charoen Pokphand Group under the project “Weaving Goodness to Repay the Land,” aimed at developing rental housing areas according to the established guidelines, providing housing with job opportunities for targeted low-income and vulnerable groups, along with development and career promotion strategies, as well as improving other aspects of quality of life suitable for the location and environment. This collaboration supports the development and promotion of careers as jointly defined by both parties, from short-term to long-term projects, such as training in agricultural knowledge, supporting coffee cultivation and agricultural processing, selecting youth for career-building projects, and organizing study visits to various projects.

The K-Ha housing project, “Rental Housing with Job Opportunities,” emphasizes “Having a Home - Having a Job - Having Income - Being Happy.” The company aims to create 100,000 units within five years (2021 - 2025), with 20,000 units constructed each year. Currently, two pilot projects have been completed and contracts signed with eligible tenants: the K-Ha housing project in Chalongkrung with 302 units and the K-Ha housing project in Romklao with 270 units. There are four house designs available, catering to the elderly, people with disabilities, singles, new households, and families. In the future, there are plans to expand to all 77 provinces.
