Origin Property has unveiled a 5-year roadmap to develop a mega mixed-use project called Origin Resort World in key tourist cities. The project will commence in two locations simultaneously: Phuket's Bangtao Beach and Khao Yai, with a total project value exceeding 11 billion baht. This development will feature a combination of condominiums, luxury villas, hotel villas, beach clubs, residences, and 5-star hotels, along with wellness services to enhance the tourist city experience by integrating all components. The first phase will launch with SO Origin Bangtao Beach Phuket, starting at 3.59 million baht, with VVIP sales opening on January 20, targeting both Thai and foreign buyers, long-term investors, and those seeking vacation homes.

Recently, the company has laid out a 5-year roadmap (2024-2028) to pilot the development of the Origin Resort World project in two locations: “Origin Resort World Phuket | Bangtao Beach” and “Origin Resort World | Khao Yai”, with a combined project value of over 11 billion baht. These two locations are top tourist destinations in the country, with demand across all markets, including residential living, vacation homes, long-term rental investments, short-term tourist stays, and long-term accommodations.

For Origin Resort World Phuket | Bangtao Beach, the project is valued at 8 billion baht, situated on approximately 25 rai of land adjacent to Bangtao Beach, known for its stunning sunsets and as a central location for convenient access to various important places in Phuket. It will consist of five projects, including: 1. SO Origin Bangtao Beach (luxury condominium, 8 stories), 2. Balco (luxury pool villas, 35 units), 3. One Origin Hotel Bangtao (5-star hotel under consideration for a chain), 4. Branded Residences, and 5. Tichuka Phuket Beach Club, bringing a famous bar from Thonglor to a seaside gathering and relaxation area.

Origin Nationwide will kick off the first phase in Phuket with SO Origin Bangtao Beach, a project valued at 2.5 billion baht, featuring 3 luxury condominium buildings, 8 stories high, with 545 units and 1 clubhouse. The unit sizes start at 26 sq.m., 32 sq.m., and 50 sq.m., fully furnished. Construction is expected to begin in Q3 2024 and be completed by Q1 2026, with VVIP sales starting on January 20 at the project sales office, with prices starting at 3.59 million baht. Following this, Britannia will officially launch sales for Balco in the next phase within this year.

According to Mr. Prasertkul Charoentaveemongkol, Managing Director of Origin Nationwide Co., Ltd., the “Origin Resort World | Khao Yai” project is a mega project with a total project value of over 3 billion baht on a 40 rai plot of land on Thanarat Road, featuring several unique aspects, including: 1. a joint venture between Origin Property and Asian Sea Corporation Public Company Limited (ASIAN), 2. wellness and well-being services catering to residents of all ages, including world-class medical services, weekly health check-ups, rehabilitation and physiotherapy centers, and recreational facilities that promote positive energy for relaxation for couples, families, and friends.

The project is developed under the concept of The Integrated Well-Being Residence and Hospitality Destination, integrating the natural beauty of Khao Yai, masterful design, world-class services, and well-being programs. It comprises four components: 1. Branded Residences Villa (Luxury Pool Villa, 19 units starting at 19 million baht), 2. Branded Residences Condominium (4-6 story buildings, 20 buildings totaling 405 residential units starting at 3.99 million baht), 3. a 5-star hotel with 191 rooms, and 4. wellness service centers.

We see a high demand for vacation homes in this area, which is why we are launching Branded Residences Villa and Branded Residences Condominium before showcasing the first show unit with a 3D simulation of urban & lifestyle, the first of its kind in Khao Yai, at the end of January. VVIP sales will begin at the end of this month, with more project details to be revealed soon,” Mr. Prasertkul stated.
