Origin Achieves Home and Condo Sales of 36.94 Billion Baht in the First 9 Months of 2023, with Continued Growth in Thonburi and Upcountry Markets, Driving Total Sales to Over 80% of Annual Target
Origin Property has reported home and condo sales of 12.475 billion baht in Q3/2023, pushing total sales for the first nine months of 2023 to 36.94 billion baht, which is 82% of the annual sales target. The Thonburi market, including areas like Siriraj and Phetkasem, as well as upcountry locations such as Phuket and Khon Kaen, remains vibrant. The three main brands, So Origin, Origin Place, and The Origin, particularly the Pet Lover Condo concept, have resonated well with local customers, leading to continuous sales growth. In the final quarter, the company plans to launch over 12 new projects worth a total of 15.55 billion baht, confident that annual sales will exceed the target of 45 billion baht.

Mr. Pirapong Jarunake, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, stated that in Q3/2023 (July-September 2023), the company achieved sales of 12.475 billion baht, a 7% increase from the same period last year. This includes approximately 75% from condominium projects and about 25% from housing projects under Brittania Public Company Limited (BRI), a subsidiary. In terms of project status, around 57% of sales came from ready-to-move-in projects, while 43% were from new launches and ongoing construction projects. As a result, for the first nine months of 2023, the company has accumulated residential project sales of over 36.94 billion baht, a 26% increase from the previous year, representing 82% of the annual sales target.
“Our strategy to penetrate new potential locations nationwide, as outlined in theOrigin Infinity plan, remains a key factor in diversifying risks and continuously increasing access to new customer markets. Despite the overall economy being stable, we still see demand for both residential and investment purposes in several key areas, such as the Thonburi zone and major cities like Phuket and Khon Kaen,” Mr. Pirapong said.
The new condominium projects launched at the end of Q3/2023 include three projects: Grand Hampton Thonglor, Origin Place Khon Kaen Kanlapaphruek, and The Origin Kathu-Patong, which have received excellent responses, with an average take-up rate of over 40% since their launch. Meanwhile, projects that have gradually opened since the beginning of the year have also significantly contributed to overall sales, such as So Origin Siriraj, Origin Place Phahol 59 Station, Origin Place Phetkasem, and The Origin Centre Phuket.
For the main brands targeting the condominium market, the three brands: Origin Place, The Origin, and So Origin continue to receive excellent feedback. The design, functionality, and overall living concepts of these three brands represent innovative solutions that appeal to consumers in various locations, such as the incorporation of Smart Closets, the Duo Space room design with a ceiling height of 4.2 meters, and the development of some projects or buildings as Pet Lover Condos, featuring designs and common areas that accommodate both residents and their pets.
Mr. Pirapong further stated that in Q4/2023 (October-December 2023), the company plans to launch a total of 12 new projects worth 15.55 billion baht, including 5 condominium projects valued at 6.65 billion baht. The company will continue to use its three main brands to penetrate the market, expanding in Bangkok, such as in Pinklao and Sukhumvit, as well as in key tourist cities like Pattaya, Bang Saen, and Nakhon Ratchasima, along with 7 housing projects valued at 8.9 billion baht, focusing on the mass market with the Brittania brand, while also enhancing its offerings with the high-end Grand Brittania brand and the luxury Belgravia brand, distributed across both the eastern and western sides of Bangkok, such as Ratchaphruek and Bangna-Bangpakong Westgate.

With accumulated sales already exceeding 82% of the annual sales target and ongoing plans to launch new projects in potential locations, the company is confident that it will achieve its annual sales target of 45 billion baht.
