Supalai Public Company Limited, a leading real estate company in Thailand, in collaboration with TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a top innovator in paint and construction materials, reinforces its goal as a Sustainable Real Estate Development Leader under the ESG concept. The focus is on researching and developing environmentally friendly housing innovations with the launch of the Eco-Paint Purifier, a wastewater treatment solution for managing wastewater generated during construction projects. This initiative is being piloted in Supalai's new condominium project, marking the company as the first real estate developer to drive innovation in wastewater management from painting activities to enhance environmentally friendly construction.

Mr. Kittipong Sirilaktrakul, Deputy Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, stated: One of the key challenges in the construction sector today is not only managing costs, time, and quality but also enhancing the standards of environmental impact management occurring on-site. One critical issue is wastewater management, which Supalai has continuously prioritized. The company has established systematic measures for managing wastewater and contaminated water from construction activities, including water quality control, sediment trapping, and treatment before discharge into public sources, in compliance with government regulations. This has led to the development of the ECO-Paint Purifier in collaboration with TOA, designed to provide practical solutions for construction projects, capable of separating paint sediment, adjusting wastewater quality, and ensuring pH levels are appropriate before discharge. Additionally, it allows for the reuse of water that meets established standards. This collaboration reflects Supalai's direction in advancing construction standards while integrating work quality, operational efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Mr. Jaturapath Tangkaravakoon, CEO of TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, expressed: This collaboration with Supalai marks another significant step in TOA's commitment to enhancing the Green Ecosystem in the Thai construction and real estate industry. We have jointly developed the Eco-Paint Purifier and tested its practical application at the Supalai Park Ekkamai-Phatthanakan project, finding that this innovation is highly effective in separating paint sediment, reducing suspended solids in wastewater by up to 97%, and adjusting the acidity-alkalinity of wastewater to neutral levels, ensuring that treated water meets standards.

As a leader in paint and construction materials innovation, TOA not only focuses on delivering products that are safe for residents and environmentally friendly but also emphasizes managing environmental impacts throughout the product lifecycle, especially at construction sites. The use of the Eco-Paint Purifier thus completes the sustainability value chain, driving organizations, business partners, and Thai society towards a sustainable future for the next generation.

The launch of the ECO-Paint Purifier marks the beginning of a new standard for environmental management in construction areas. Supalai and TOA plan to expand the use of the paint wastewater treatment system to other projects, including condominiums and horizontal projects in the future. Initially, it will be implemented in the Supalai Park Ekkamai-Phatthanakan project and the Supalai Tham Charoen Nakhon project, with plans to continuously extend to other projects. This initiative aims to create environmentally conscious housing from the construction process to delivery to customers while progressing towards the goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2050, contributing to a sustainable future for Thailand and future generations. #TOA #Supalai
