THANA Tackles Business Challenges with Launch of 4 Projects Worth 2.5 Billion Baht Covering All Segments
THANA is gearing up to face the business risks of 2024 while aiming for growth, diversification, livability, and sustainability. The company reinforces its THANA GREEN strategy in all processes, striving towards the goal of becoming a Lifetime Total Living Solution that meets all housing needs. It plans to launch 4 new projects with a total value of over 2.5 billion baht, targeting sales of 1.8 billion baht and declaring a dividend for 2023 at a rate of 0.028 baht per share, scheduled for payment on May 9.

Mr. Sutthirak Sateerakphayuth, CEO of Thanasiri Group Public Company Limited (THANA), stated that although 2024 presents ongoing challenges from various risk factors carried over from the previous year, which directly impact consumers looking to purchase homes and real estate developers, the company is prepared to handle these situations with caution. He believes that within these challenges lie business opportunities that allow for a new strategic approach to effectively advance the business in this era, aiming for continuous numerical growth of approximately 20-30% per year.

Together with Newton EM, a medical and physical therapy clinic, we will look after the health of homeowners and customers of all ages across all segments by launching the health business Homey Wellness by Newton EM, offering personalized treatment design. This marks a diversification into a comprehensive service business expected to generate additional income and sustainable growth,” the CEO stated.
Goals and Plans for New Project Launches in 2024
In 2024, the company aims for sales of 1.8 billion baht while targeting revenue recognition of 1.4 billion baht. The sales and revenue targets from the development projects for sale are derived from:
• Ongoing projects currently under development and sale (continuing projects) totaling 9 projects valued at 4 billion baht
• Backlog of 287 million baht, with over 50% to be delivered to customers in Q1/2024
• Launching 4 new projects valued at 2.5 billion baht, including 2 projects developed by Thanasiri Group worth 400 million baht and a joint venture with Anabuki Kosan. Over the past 4 years, 3 joint ventures have been established with a total value of 2.6 billion baht, and there are plans for 2 ongoing projects worth 2.1 billion baht, instilling confidence that the company will continue to grow steadily and sustainably.
The new projects are not only located in prime areas around Nonthaburi but also expand into other potential locations such as Bangna and Sukapiban, covering all customer segments with high purchasing power, from those just starting families to those with stable incomes.
Mr. Sutthirak also added that the performance of THANA Green in 2023 focused on driving both internally and externally to ensure measurable results in all dimensions, emphasizing work aligned with E-S-G under the framework of Total Green Real Estate Development – Services in all processes. This approach aims to provide value while creating quality for living and life in a sharing society, as well as caring for the environment, which is the core concept of doing business that is not merely following trends.
At the same time, he concluded that in 2023, the company achieved sales of 1.623 billion baht, an increase of 201 million baht or 14.1% compared to the previous year, while revenue met the target of 1.048 billion baht. The gross profit margin stood at 32.3%, maintaining a rate close to the previous year, with pricing strategies considering costs in each phase while controlling costs and adjusting house designs to meet customer demands and promote sales without impacting construction costs.
Furthermore, during the first board meeting of 2024 on February 22, 2024, the company approved the proposal to the annual shareholders' meeting for the approval of a dividend payment for the 2023 fiscal year at a rate of 0.068 baht per share, having already paid an interim dividend of 0.040 baht per share, leaving a remaining dividend of 0.028 baht per share for shareholders. The record date for shareholders entitled to receive the dividend is set for April 23, 2024, with the payment scheduled for May 9, 2024.
