The Golden Pin Design Award is hosting "Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon Bangkok 2023" on May 9, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC). This event is organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute and co-hosted by the Association for the Development of Arts and Crafts.

Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon was established by the Golden Pin Design Award in Taiwan in 2015, aiming to invite winners of the Golden Pin Design Award to share their design ideas and professional experiences with design enthusiasts across various fields. Over the past 8 years, the Salon has toured 21 cities across Asia, including Shanghai, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, and surrounding cities like Hong Kong and Taipei. To date, the Salon has invited over 100 of the most renowned design experts in Asia to share their design insights at these events.

For the upcoming "Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon Bangkok 2023" in Bangkok, we have invited design experts from both Taiwan and Thailand who are winners of the Golden Pin Design Award to speak. This event will feature three distinguished designers: 1. ML Warut Varavan (Principal Architect and Founder of Vin Varavarn Architects), along with two Taiwanese designers who have flown in specifically for this event: 2. Ocean Ou (Founder of Duolog Design LLC) and 3. NK Kuo (Founder of Forest-Wood Archi-Tect and Director of Timber Tectonic of Curvink Architects). They will share their design insights under the theme “The Power of Design: How to Practice Sustainability through Design.” This event also aims to promote the Golden Pin Design Award among designers throughout Asia. Additionally, we are collaborating with Ideathon and have invited Sinitas Praditthasanee, the founder of "Sanitas Studio," a landscape architecture and contemporary art studio that has received numerous awards in architecture and art, to exchange ideas.

The "Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon Bangkok 2023" will take place on May 9, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (registration starts at 5:00 PM) at Auditorium 1&2, M Floor, Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), Central Post Office, Bang Rak, Bangkok. We invite everyone to join and listen to award-winning designers in the fields of sustainable product design, architecture, and wood design as they share their design experiences, including their thought processes and practices.
