Nominations for the awards are open from today until September 9, 2022, with results announced on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Ms. Suphin Mechucheep, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle (Thailand) Ltd. and Chair of the Judging Panel for the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, stated that the company has been alongside the Thai real estate market for over 30 years, navigating various challenges and opportunities, including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This year, new supply is expected to enter the housing market in early 2022 after a slowdown in new project launches over the past 1-2 years.

Additionally, there is a noticeable trend of international travel for both tourism and business returning to normal. Investor and developer confidence is also on the rise. "The Thai real estate market is showing signs of recovery, evident from the demand from real demand buyers looking for homes. This ongoing demand will drive the Thai real estate business in the coming months," she added.

Ms. Kamolphat Saengkit, Country Manager for DDproperty, noted that the highest price growth is observed in the suburban areas of Bangkok, where land prices are reasonable and locations meet buyers' needs with convenient access to the BTS and MRT, making commuting to the city easier.
