Kantar, a WPP subsidiary, has researched product categories that have seen increased sales during this period and are expected to continue thriving even as the COVID-19 outbreak improves. These include e-commerce, food delivery, insurance, home entertainment, health, and logistics.

According to Priceza, a leading price comparison website and app in Thailand, there has been a significant increase in clicks for health and beauty products, which grew by as much as 122% from January to July 2020 compared to the same period in 2019.

The most sought-after health and beauty products are those that help prevent germs, such as face masks, hand sanitizers, and more.

Additionally, the computer product category saw a click increase of over 56% due to lockdown measures, as people had to stay home to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Students also had to shift their learning from traditional classrooms to online platforms, leading to a higher demand for computer products.

Moreover, the home appliance category experienced a 36% increase in clicks, with products related to germ and dust protection remaining popular, such as air filters. These items continue to attract consumer interest, along with cooking-related products like air fryers.
