Origin Property, or ORI, is preparing to offer a new series of bonds in three tranches aimed at general and institutional investors, with maturities of 1 year 10 months 8 days, 3 years, and 3 years 6 months, and interest rates of 4.25%, 4.85%, and 5.00% per annum, respectively. The bonds will pay interest every 3 months and will be available for subscription from May 9-10 and 13, 2023, through 11 leading financial institutions with a credit rating of "BBB+ Stable" from Tris Rating. The funds raised will be used for land purchases for new project development, debt repayment, and working capital, as the company moves forward with plans to launch 35 new projects in 2024, valued at 37 billion baht.

Mr. Pirapong Jarunake, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, stated that the company is set to offer its second bond issuance of 2024, which will be a registered bond type, non-subordinated, unsecured, and with a bondholder representative. The bonds will be issued in three series: the first series with a maturity of 1 year 10 months 8 days at an interest rate of 4.25% per annum, the second series with a maturity of 3 years at an interest rate of 4.85% per annum, and the third series with a maturity of 3 years 6 months at an interest rate of 5.00% per annum.

On April 23, 2024, Tris Rating assigned a credit rating of "BBB+" with a "Stable" outlook to the bonds and the company. The three bond series will be offered between May 9-10 and 13, 2024, through 11 financial institutions acting as underwriters, with plans to offer a total amount not exceeding 2 billion baht and an additional reserve of up to 500 million baht to accommodate investor demand.

Mr. Pirapong further stated that for 2024, the company's business plan will continue from 2023, with a clearer focus on expanding investments in key provincial cities across the country, which will help broaden the customer base and allow for more diverse project developments. This aligns with the comprehensive service concept under "Origin Infinity," aiming to create sustainable growth and consumer care. The goal is to develop Origin Property into a Well-Being Lifetime Company by focusing on three main areas: 1. Expanding diverse products and services nationwide, 2. Continuously growing new business universes for better living, and 3. Caring for society and the environment sustainably to create a better society.

In 2023, the group achieved total presales of approximately 47.625 billion baht, a growth of about 15% from the previous year, exceeding the company's target of 45 billion baht. This includes approximately 73% from condominium projects and 27% from housing projects. The group had a backlog of approximately 45.889 billion baht at the end of 2023, with about 17.616 billion baht expected to be recognized in 2024, representing 67% of the total transfer target of 26 billion baht for 2024.

For 2024, the group plans to launch a total of 35 new projects worth 37 billion baht, with approximately 45.95% in housing and 54.05% in condominiums, to build on past successes. The company believes that the ORI bonds being offered this time represent an attractive investment opportunity and expects a positive response from investors as in previous offerings.
