Origin Property has launched a joint venture with another partner, "Sotetsu Real Estate," part of the "Sotetsu Group," a major player in railways, real estate, and retail in Japan. They are kicking off their first joint project, "The Origin Phahol 57," with a project value of 1.04 billion baht, building on the success of developing condos for pet lovers in northern Bangkok, with prices starting at 2.39 million baht. Sotetsu is confident in the purchasing power and the growing pet-friendly condo market in Thailand, looking for opportunities to expand collaboration with the Origin Group continuously.

Mr. Pirapong Jarunake, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, revealed that the company has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Sotetsu Real Estate (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the "Sotetsu Group" (Sotetsu Group), a major transportation and real estate business from Japan, to jointly develop the condominium project The Origin Phahol 57, a condo project for pet lovers valued at 1.04 billion baht, targeting the northern Bangkok market.

“This is another instance where we have gained the trust of a large foreign partner with a shared vision to jointly develop residential projects. Both we and the Sotetsu Group are committed to delivering quality housing that meets the needs of modern living, as well as creating urban communities near key public transport routes for people to live comfortably and happily. We believe this collaboration will be a great starting point for both companies, and we are confident that our combined know-how will help deliver housing that meets consumer lifestyles,” said Mr. Pirapong.

Since 2021, Origin has gradually launched 16 pet-friendly condo projects, with a total project value exceeding 26 billion baht. The Origin Phahol 57 is the latest project in this series and is the third pet-friendly condo project by the Origin Group in northern Bangkok, following the success of previous projects in the area, particularly Origin Place Phahol 59 Station, which has achieved 80% accumulated sales.

The Sotetsu Group is a publicly listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange with a history of over 100 years. Currently, it has a registered capital of over 38.8 billion yen (approximately 9.417 billion baht) and owns and operates the Sotetsu railway line in Kanagawa Prefecture. It also plays a significant role in developing Kanagawa in terms of transportation, real estate, and merchandising. The real estate business under the Sotetsu Group encompasses residential project development, shopping malls, office buildings, and urban development around various Sotetsu stations, continuously strengthening the area. Currently, there are projects under Sotetsu Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Sotetsu Fudosan), which includes condominiums under the brand Gracia and homes under the brand Gracia Life, accumulating over 38,000 units.

Mr. Masamune Suzuki, President of Sotetsu Real Estate Co., Ltd. in Japan (Sotetsu Fudosan), stated that the housing market in Thailand is interesting due to the continuous demand for housing, especially with the expansion of transportation routes in Bangkok and its vicinity. As a company with experience in developing Kanagawa, a key prefecture adjacent to Tokyo, into a livable city, we are committed to delivering quality residential developments and urban development in Thailand for a prosperous and happy city. We believe this project will be competitive with others by leveraging its location on Phaholyothin 57, close to the BTS Green Line, which is the main route to central Bangkok. Additionally, we are confident that this project will receive a positive response from consumers due to Origin Group's product planning that meets the needs of pet owners.

The company is also pleased to consider opportunities for collaboration with the Origin Property Group in both real estate and other viable businesses in Thailand continuously.

The project "The Origin Phahol 57" is a low-rise condominium project with 8 floors, consisting of 2 buildings: Building A for general residential use and Building B as a "Pet-friendly" building where pets are allowed. Developed under the concept "Live your own wave," it features a rooftop garden for pets and owners to relax, catering to pet lovers, especially among the younger generation. The project design emphasizes a white color tone in a Beach Minimal style.
