National Housing Authority Partners Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Major Event 'National Housing Fair 2023' Offering Incredible Promotions with Discounts Up to 80,000 Baht, Starting Reservations at 1,000 Baht from September 1-3
National Housing Authority collaborates with public and private sector partners to celebrate its 50th anniversary by organizing the major event 'National Housing Fair 2023' under the theme 'Thinking of Home, Thinking of Housing' from September 1-3. The event will showcase 11,492 housing units that are completed and under construction in prime locations across the country, available for the public to reserve starting at just 1,000 Baht. Special promotional discounts will be offered in three parts: Part 1, a discount of up to 10% from support measures or the option to rent to buy; Part 2, special interest rates for rent-to-own and project closure discounts of up to 10,000 Baht; and Part 3, an additional discount of up to 40,000 Baht for reservations made at the event, totaling discounts of up to 80,000 Baht. There will also be educational activities, free credit checks, job recruitment, community product booths, home decoration items, and affordable goods from the Flagship Project.

Mr. Thaveepong Vichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority, stated that as an agency under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, it plays a crucial role in developing housing, communities, and cities alongside improving the quality of life for residents, particularly for low-income groups and vulnerable households over the past 50 years. The authority has developed over 700,000 housing units through various projects such as the Affordable Housing Project, Community Housing Project, Slum Improvement Project, Civil Servant Housing Project, and the Din Daeng Community Revitalization Project. To mark the 50th anniversary of the National Housing Authority, it has partnered with both public and private sectors to organize the 'National Housing Fair 2023' under the theme 'Thinking of Home, Thinking of Housing' from September 1-3, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the National Housing Authority headquarters and provincial housing offices nationwide from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

“The National Housing Fair 2023 is another significant event of the year where the public will have the opportunity to access quality housing in a good environment at affordable prices. The National Housing Authority has partnered with both public and private sector allies, including various financial institutions, to offer special promotions to interested citizens, including special interest rates, furniture and home decoration items, as well as construction materials at special prices as a year-end gift to the public, in line with the agency's vision of 'Building Homes, Building Happiness for a Better Quality of Life,'” said Mr. Thaveepong.


For the 'National Housing Fair 2023', the National Housing Authority will present housing projects that are completed and under construction across the country, totaling 11,492 units, including community housing projects, affordable housing projects, community services, housing development along infrastructure transport networks (TOD), and civil servant welfare housing projects. These are divided into 4,824 units in Bangkok and its vicinity, 1,008 units in the Central region, 505 units in the North, 2,339 units in the East, 1,329 units in the Northeast, and 1,487 units in the South, in various forms such as single houses, duplexes, townhouses, and condominiums in prime locations that stand out in each region, available for interested citizens to reserve starting at just 1,000 Baht.
Additionally, there will be special promotional discounts in three parts
Part 1 offers a discount of up to 10% from the measures supporting access to housing or the option to rent to buy, with houses and land at 1,500 Baht per month, 33 sq.m. units at 1,200-1,500 Baht per month, and 24 sq.m. units at 1,000-1,200 Baht per month.
Part 2 offers special interest rates for rent-to-own from the housing development loan project (KBS) for those who do not pass bank credit checks. For the general public, the interest rate for years 1-4 is 1.50%. For vulnerable groups (the elderly, disabled, single parents, or children buying homes in projects where their parents reside), the interest rate for years 1-5 is also 1.50%. Monthly payments start at 1,000 Baht, or rent-to-own with special interest rates for the general public at 4% for year 1, and for vulnerable groups at 4% for years 1-2, with monthly payments starting at 1,200 Baht, along with project closure discounts of up to 10,000 Baht for projects with no more than 10 units remaining.
Part 3 offers additional discounts of 15,000-40,000 Baht for reservations made during the event, divided into social projects with a 15,000 Baht discount, commercial projects priced below 2.5 million Baht per unit with a 20,000 Baht discount, and projects priced above 2.5 million Baht per unit with a 40,000 Baht discount, totaling discounts of up to 80,000 Baht for projects participating in all promotions. Details of the criteria, conditions, and participating projects are as determined by the National Housing Authority, along with educational activities, microbial water-making activities, free credit checks, job recruitment, community products, home decoration items, affordable consumer goods from the Flagship Project, and booths from various financial institutions such as the Government Housing Bank, Government Savings Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Bangkok Bank, and TMBThanachart Bank, which will provide advice and services regarding loan applications for customers at the event.
