Britania Achieves Record Pre-sales of Over 5 Billion Baht in First 6 Months, Plans to Launch 10 New Projects in the Second Half
"Britania" has accumulated pre-sales of 5 billion baht in the first 6 months, breaking records despite launching only 2 new projects. The ongoing projects have received positive responses, and in the second half of the year, the company is set to aggressively open another 10 projects in Bangkok and other provinces, anticipating a continuous recovery in demand for residential properties. A major campaign is planned to boost sales throughout the year to meet targets.

Ms. Suphalak Janpitak, CEO of Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), stated that the overall performance of the company in the first 6 months of this year has been satisfactory, having launched only 2 new projects. The total sales (pre-sales) amounted to approximately 5 billion baht, with over 2.4 billion baht in the first quarter and more than 2.6 billion baht in the second quarter. The pre-sales in the second quarter grew by 26.7% compared to the same period last year, demonstrating the company's potential in developing house designs and selecting locations that meet customer demands, as well as the gradually recovering demand for housing.
The pre-sales achieved in the first half of the year resulted from the success of launching new projects and ongoing sales. The 2 new projects launched in the first half include: Britania Ratchaphruek – Nakhon In, featuring twin houses and single houses in English Gable style, priced from 6.19 to 8.99 million baht, with a take-up rate of over 80%, and the Britania Amata - Phan Thong in Chonburi, offering houses and townhomes in a new Modern British concept, priced from 2.99 to 7 million baht, which opened for pre-sales on June 25-26, currently with a take-up rate of 45%. Additionally, there are 19 ongoing projects of single houses and townhomes in Bangkok, the surrounding areas, and the eastern region, all generating good sales.
"This year, we launched only 2 new projects in the first 6 months and achieved satisfactory sales. Meanwhile, the existing projects under sale continue to attract customer visits, with satisfactory booking and transfer rates," said Ms. Suphalak.
For the second half of the year, the operational plan will intensify, with plans to continuously open new projects in both the third and fourth quarters, totaling 10 projects valued at 10.9 billion baht in Bangkok and other provinces, including the central and eastern regions. The company will also expand project development to provinces with potential in the northeastern region, while introducing new house designs that adapt to changing lifestyles, aiming to establish Britania's brand of housing as nationally recognized and meet the demand for residential properties in major provincial cities.
It is estimated that the demand for real estate in the second half of the year will continue to recover, especially for residential properties, which represent real demand. Despite current pressures from rising energy prices and inflation affecting the overall economy, the real estate business is benefiting from government measures to stimulate the sector by reducing transfer fees and mortgage fees for properties priced below 3 million baht until the end of this year. The company is preparing to launch a new campaign to stimulate housing purchases, confident that it will achieve pre-sales of 11 billion baht this year, in line with its targets.
