LEARN Hosts Future-Ready Admissions Summit Connecting AI Education Experts and International Education, Encouraging Thai Families to Look Beyond Test Scores
LEARN Corporation organized the Future-Ready Admissions Summit under the theme “Global University Admissions in an Age of Uncertainty”, bringing together education experts, AI technology specialists, and international education professionals to help parents and students understand the new educational landscape. In today's world, gaining university admission is not solely dependent on academic performance or test scores; it requires planning that aligns with each student's potential, goals, and individual pathways.

This preparation process is not one-dimensional; it connects various elements from self-discovery, educational pathway planning, to readiness for each student's goals. This approach has been consistently implemented by the international education and future skills development businesses under LEARN, including Ignite, EduSmith, Skooldio, Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP School), APPA, Crest School, and Mastery School. They combine their expertise to support students according to their individual goals and potentials throughout their university preparation journey. This group supports over 5,000 students annually and continuously sends students to leading universities both in Thailand and abroad. This experience has been transformed into the Future-Ready Admissions Summit, providing Thai families access to experts and preparation strategies from various fields in one platform.

At the event, participants explored critical issues transforming the education world, including the role of AI in learning and the workforce, trends in international education, planning for top global universities, and the concept of Beyond Grades & Test Scores, which reflects that leading universities value students' potential, interests, experiences, and skills alongside their academic results. This was facilitated through panel discussions, individual consultations, SAT and IELTS practice tests, a Discovery Zone, and booths from universities and educational partner organizations both domestically and internationally.
Another significant highlight was the hands-on workshops that allowed students to learn through real experiences, such as the Railway Master Class, which encouraged engineering mindset thinking through structural design and problem-solving, Character Development 101, which provided insights into self-discovery from senior students at top universities, The Future-Ready Undergraduate, which helped students and parents understand preparation for university education, Futureproof: Master Your Mind, Map Your Goals, which assisted in goal-setting and planning, and From Passion to Admission: Using AI to Shape a Standout Profile, which taught students how to apply AI to enhance their profiles for further education. Additionally, there were workshops on scholarships and studying in China, Australia, the United States, and other destinations from educational partners both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Tony Kanthapasra, CEO of LEARN Corporation Public Company Limited, stated, “Today’s world is changing too rapidly for us to rely on the experiences of previous generations as a one-size-fits-all solution for the next. As educational paths, careers, and necessary skills for the future become more diverse, it is crucial not just to find the best single path but to help learners understand themselves, discover their potential, and choose the path that suits them best. This is why LEARN organized the Future-Ready Admissions Summit to create a space for Thai families to access information, perspectives, and experts from various fields for comprehensive educational planning tailored to each learner.”

Dr. Wiroj Jirapatthanakul, Chairman of Skooldio Co., Ltd., remarked, “In a world where AI makes access to knowledge easier, the advantage may not lie in knowing more but in the ability to ask questions, analyze, connect knowledge, and continuously learn new things. The most important skills may not be what we know today but the ability to learn what the world will need tomorrow.” Meanwhile, Dr. Prachayapong Yasri, Director of Ignite A Star Co., Ltd., added, “In a world with increasing changes and diverse choices, preparing students cannot be limited to just academic results or test scores; it must encompass the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for the future. Ignite A Star supports learners through a team of over 120 expert teachers in international curricula, standardized testing, and essential skill development to help students thrive in the future.”

The Future-Ready Admissions Summit reflects that preparing for the future cannot rely solely on academic results or test scores; it requires appropriate support at each stage of learning, from self-discovery to transitioning to university and the workforce. It also showcases LEARN Corporation's approach to connecting knowledge and expertise from various fields to help learners and families plan their educational futures in alignment with their individual goals.
