City Dynamic has released an exclusive video titled A House in the Making, showcasing the perspectives of the design team behind the Upper House Residences Bangkok and The Wireless Residences by Upper House. This video takes viewers through the thought process, design ideas, and significant collaborations that have developed these two branded residences under the Upper House brand, the first of its kind in the world, situated on rare freehold land on Wireless Road, one of the most prestigious areas in Bangkok.

Interviews with the teams from Foster + Partners, BAR Studio, PIA Interior, and P Landscape reflect a collaborative approach where architecture, interior design, landscape design, and exceptional service converge to create two uniquely designed “homes” that are truly meant for living.

From Upper House Services to Living Experience

The special video begins by reinforcing Upper House's philosophy of “Houses, not Hotels,” a hotel brand known for its attentive service that feels special and personal. This concept is translated into the actual living experience for the first time in these two branded residences.

Mr. Toby Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Swire Hotels, stated, "This is a significant creative collaboration. Upper House has never aimed to stand out, but we focus on creating spaces that feel warm, genuine, and personal—a true ‘home’ that is comfortable to live in. Architecture: Attention to Every Detail

The architectural design by Foster + Partners, executed through their subsidiary in Thailand, F&P (Thailand) Co., Ltd., draws inspiration from the layout and tranquility of traditional Thai houses, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Both buildings are designed with comfort, natural light, and openness in mind, offering panoramic views of Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park.

Mr. Roland Schneider, Lead Architect at Foster + Partners, said, "We aim to blend attentive service with ultra-luxury living, making the return home a return to tranquility. The presence of green spaces in the heart of Wireless Road offers an unexpected feeling, with every detail thoughtfully considered."

Interior Design: Comfortable Living in Two Styles

The Upper House Residences Bangkok has engaged BAR Studio for its interior design, focusing on a lifestyle that promotes holistic well-being. The layout seamlessly integrates private and family areas, emphasizing natural light, wellness, and the use of simple yet tasteful materials as core elements.

The Wireless Residences by Upper House features interior design by PIA Interior, presenting concepts that cater to multi-generational family living. The design carefully accommodates families of all sizes and life stages, with layouts that provide private spaces while offering communal areas that naturally connect everyone.

Landscape Design: Life Amidst Gardens and Nature

The landscape design by P Landscape emphasizes the idea of “homes in gardens,” with pathways, plant arrangements, and open spaces designed to create a sense of privacy, connecting the area to the Green Mile, or the green bridge of Bangkok, and gently linking to the surrounding Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park.

This video not only conveys the design inspiration behind the projects but also reflects the shared goal of leading partners: to create two residences or “homes” that are rooted in the context of the area, inspired by the people, and passed down through generations.

Upper House Residences Bangkok and The Wireless Residences by Upper House are located in the heart of Bangkok's key business district, surrounded by premier shopping, five-star hotels, international schools, and embassies.

Currently, both projects are under development, with Upper House Residences Bangkok being a 52-story building comprising 156 units, while The Wireless Residences by Upper House is a 71-story building with 239 units.

Both projects aim for the completion of the first phase in 2029 and will be managed by the Upper House brand.
