NEO Supports Bangkok Under the BKK Food Bank Project, Donating Over a Million Baht Worth of Essential Products to Alleviate Living Costs and Promote Well-Being for Vulnerable Groups Across Bangkok
NEO Corporation Public Company Limited (NEO), a leading Thai FMCG innovator, continues to create shared value with society through collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) under the "BKK Food Bank" project. NEO has donated over 9,100 essential daily products from various brands within the NEO group, valued at over 1,070,100 baht, to the BMA for distribution to vulnerable groups across all 50 districts of Bangkok. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and promote well-being for urban residents equally while alleviating the burden of living costs amid current economic pressures.

Ms. Patama Thakolsri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NEO Corporation Public Company Limited, stated, "Under the concept of Innovation from Core to Care, which is central to NEO, particularly in terms of ESG, we are committed to ensuring that the innovations developed by NEO are leveraged to create value and extend care to all stakeholders. Supporting the BKK Food Bank project reflects our commitment to utilizing resources and products to their fullest potential for people and society, supporting the BMA's mechanism to effectively deliver NEO's care to vulnerable groups."

For this collaboration, NEO has selected essential daily products from its brands, including Fineline, D-nee, BeNice, Vivite, TROS, and Tomi, totaling over 9,100 items valued at over 1,070,100 baht. These products include items for children, bath and skincare products, deodorants, laundry detergents, and household cleaning products, aimed at promoting hygiene and well-being for vulnerable groups in various areas.
"NEO's sustainability mission goes beyond environmental care; it also encompasses social sustainability through sharing resources and organizational expertise. We believe that NEO's products can help alleviate living costs and enhance hygiene and well-being for society, especially for vulnerable groups facing current economic pressures. This collaboration with the BMA is another important step in creating a sharing society and providing equal assistance," Ms. Patama concluded.

Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok, stated, "The BKK Food Bank project aims to create an accessible and sustainable welfare mechanism to enhance the quality of life for citizens, particularly vulnerable groups in the 50 districts of Bangkok, which includes over 20,000 people facing rising living costs. Collaborating with private sector partners like NEO Corporation is a significant example of the synergy between the public and business sectors to improve citizens' quality of life by providing essential products that reduce household expenses while promoting hygiene and well-being, thus fulfilling basic happiness for urban residents."

The BKK Food Bank operates through centers in each district, serving as a bridge for collaboration between the public sector, private sector, and communities to ensure that assistance is systematic, transparent, and reaches those who truly need help. This collaboration with NEO enhances the project's capacity to support essential products for vulnerable groups in society.
The BKK Food Bank provides a service model similar to a mini-mart, allowing recipients to choose essential items for their daily lives themselves. This not only alleviates household expenses but also fosters a sense of value and dignity for those receiving assistance, reflecting the idea of creating a sharing society where all sectors participate.
Governor Chatchart added, "This project reflects the power of collaboration in creating a sharing society. We are not only looking at short-term assistance but also aiming to establish a truly accessible welfare system at the community level. NEO's support in providing high-quality essential products for vulnerable groups is a great example of public-private collaboration to enhance citizens' quality of life. This collaboration not only alleviates the burden of living costs but also marks an important step in building a cooperative network to develop a city where all sectors work together to make Bangkok a livable city for everyone, ensuring no one is left behind."
