Frasers Property Thailand Partners with Big C Supercenter to Develop the Largest Distribution Center
Industrial Real Estate GroupFrasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited is moving forward with the construction of the largest distribution center for Big C Supercenter in Bang Pa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, covering an area of 89,000 square meters. The facility will feature a Built-to-Suit design that supports optimal management of incoming and outgoing goods, with storage systems capable of accommodating over 90,000 pallets. This will enhance the swift delivery of products to Big C branches and Pure Pharmacy stores nationwide, while also emphasizing sustainability through the use of green technology to minimize long-term environmental impact.

Mr. Pirapat Srisukon, Acting CEO of the Industrial Real Estate Group at Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited stated that due to the company's experience and expertise in customer-centric operations, they have earned the trust of Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited to develop the Big C Bang Pa-in distribution center on a 108-rai plot of land, with a usable area of approximately 89,000 square meters. This will be the largest distribution center for Big C Supercenter, strategically located with multiple main roads for rapid nationwide distribution, scheduled for completion in June 2025.
The new Big C distribution center will be a Built-to-Suit facility, designed to efficiently manage large volumes of incoming and outgoing goods (Flow through), with a storage height of 14 meters and load-bearing floors of 3.5 tons and 6 tons per square meter. It will include both ambient and temperature-controlled storage areas at 25 degrees Celsius to maintain the quality of products such as pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and health products. The center will be capable of storing over 90,000 pallets and delivering more than 400,000 boxes per day.
Additionally, the Big C Bang Pa-in distribution center stands out for its sustainable development approach through the use of green technology that reduces energy consumption, including the installation of a 998-kilowatt solar panel system and smart electrical systems, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1,920 tons per year, equivalent to planting 37,700 trees. The facility will also be equipped with electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, emphasizing the importance of Green Logistics, along with water-saving fixtures and efficient resource management systems that will reduce water usage in the building by 50% and non-recyclable waste by 87% compared to standard buildings, with the goal of obtaining LEED green building certification.
Mr. Asawin Techajareonvikul, CEO and Managing Director of Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited added that the Big C Bang Pa-in distribution center is part of a large campus covering 228 rai, integrating commercial, manufacturing, and distribution center spaces that utilize innovation and technology to minimize environmental impact, thereby strengthening management capabilities and enhancing cost efficiency.
