The Great Room by Industrious Prepares to Open New Branch in Bangkok at Park Silom
The Great Room by Industrious, a premium co-working space, is set to expand with its second branch in Bangkok at Park Silom in August 2023. This expansion is made possible through a collaboration with the project owner, Naiin & RGP Development Co., Ltd. This partnership brings together two leading companies: Naiin Estate Co., Ltd. and Minor International Public Company Limited. Park Silom is designed under international green building standards, focusing on energy conservation and environmental leadership (LEED - Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), as well as international health standards that consider the well-being of building occupants (WELL Building Standard). It is strategically located in the heart of Silom Road, directly connected to the Sala Daeng BTS station and Silom MRT station via a skywalk. This project marks the first new development on Silom Road since 1990.
The Great Room is located on the 29th and 30th floors of Park Silom, providing users access to healthcare centers, restaurants, and shops within the same building. With over 3,500 square meters of space, The Great Room at Park Silom will be the first co-working space in Bangkok to offer a rooftop garden. It features 59 private office rooms, various desk options, and adaptable workspaces tailored to the needs of different organizations, all designed with modern aesthetics and complete amenities, while maximizing natural light to enhance daily productivity.
Jaelle Ang, CEO of The Great Room, stated, "Following the success of our first branch in Bangkok at Gaysorn Tower, we are thrilled to expand with a new location as our second branch in Thailand. This will enhance the collaborative work experience, turning it into a hub for learning and social networking. The future of work is a trend that many are interested in, but the workspace itself is equally important. It must provide a friendly environment that is easily accessible, flexible for all work styles, and designed beautifully to inspire and engage, serving as a central point for effective collaboration."

Additionally, The Great Room has been appointed as the management team for the co-working space on the 29th floor of Park Silom, providing services to all tenants of the building. This includes a lounge, meeting rooms, and communal areas for various activities, all managed by The Great Room, featuring beautiful views of Bangkok, Lumpini Park, the Chao Phraya River, and other significant landmarks. The rooftop garden at The Great Room in Park Silom offers over 780 square meters of event space, including various meeting rooms, a reception hall, and areas for town hall meetings, training, and other activities, serving as a space for tenants and the Silom community to share experiences with one another.
Mr. Suthi Limpornchai Phorakool, CEO of Naiin & RGP Development Co., Ltd., expressed, "We are proud to collaborate with The Great Room in creating a premium co-working space at Park Silom. This project will offer a new working experience for building tenants. With The Great Room's concepts, experiences, and expertise, we are confident that their design proficiency will enhance work efficiency, foster interactions among people, and create opportunities for knowledge sharing and business connections. This space will not just be a workplace; it will be an experience and value we add for tenants and the Silom community."
Park Silom is designed under international LEED and WELL standards, aiming for a Gold certification. The LEED standard emphasizes environmental sustainability from construction through the building's lifecycle, while the WELL standard focuses on the health and well-being of building users, ensuring good indoor air quality, effective temperature control, automated lighting systems, clean drinking water free from lead, and large green spaces in front of the building.
The Great Room has been operating in Bangkok since 2018, with its first branch at Gaysorn Tower and the second branch at Park Silom, expected to open in August 2023. The Great Room initially launched its co-working space in Singapore, and in 2022, Industrious acquired The Great Room to strengthen the brand and drive its growth. Recently, The Great Room opened its sixth branch in Singapore, and with the new branch in Bangkok at Park Silom, The Great Room now has a total of 10 branches across three major cities: Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
