Britania Opens Up for Landowners Nationwide to Jointly Develop Housing Projects with the 'Your Land to New Business' Model, Creating Growth Opportunities Together
Britania, or BRI, has launched the 'Your Land to New Business' model, offering landowners with potential sites across Thailand—including Bangkok, the surrounding areas, the EEC, tourist cities, and secondary cities—the opportunity to co-invest in housing development projects. This win-win proposal transforms landowners into business owners, providing returns that exceed asset value and fostering knowledge exchange for mutual growth.

Mr. Surin Sahachato Phokanant, CEO of Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), a housing developer under the concept 'CRAFT a life you love,' stated that the company is advancing its business strategy 'B To The Top' towards becoming a leading developer in the housing sector. The company plans to expand in all dimensions, including launching 20 new projects worth a total of 22.5 billion baht, with 100% of the land ready for development. Additionally, the company is preparing plans for new project developments concurrently. Recently, it has introduced the 'Your Land to New Business' model to invite landowners in potential locations nationwide to co-invest in housing projects.

“Currently, Thailand has many landowners or landlords holding vacant land, but many do not wish to sell. At the same time, they lack plans for utilizing the land, which ultimately leads to it becoming non-income-generating. The 'Your Land to New Business' model we are implementing now provides a new option for landowners to co-invest with experienced real estate developers, allowing them to grow their businesses together without having to sell their land outright, and to achieve returns greater than the asset value,” Mr. Surin explained.

The 'Your Land to New Business' model is open to landowners, both individuals and legal entities, who possess land of at least 15 rai that is located in areas designated for housing development according to local zoning plans, has public access, is not a blind spot, and has complete documentation. The locations include potential areas in Bangkok and surrounding regions, central regions such as Rama 2-Bang Khun Thian, Mahachai-Ban Phaew, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, and Nakhon Pathom; the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) such as Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao; tourist cities like Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phuket, Hat Yai (Songkhla), Surat Thani, and Hua Hin (Prachuap Khiri Khan); as well as secondary cities and emerging areas like Lampang, Lamphun, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Chaiyaphum, Chanthaburi, and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Mr. Surin further stated that this joint venture model will benefit the company in three main areas: 1. It will provide the company with greater access to potential land locations; 2. It will allow the company to expand Britania's growth significantly; and 3. It will increase partnerships with local business partners who understand the area and its potential. Meanwhile, landowners participating in the joint venture will benefit in three main ways: 1. They will generate returns greater than the asset value; 2. They will become co-owners of the business; and 3. They will have partners and opportunities to exchange knowledge with experts in the housing development business listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
In the first quarter of 2023, the company's new project sales reached 2.545 billion baht, a 7% increase from the same period last year. The company will continue its business operations in 2023, with plans to launch three new projects in the second quarter of 2023, totaling 3.8 billion baht, including Britania Ayutthaya, Britania Theparak-Srinakarin, and Britania Bangna KM.39.
