It is evident that the trend and demand for transporting goods in this category are increasing, prompting Thailand Post to leverage the capabilities of EMS along with specialized delivery services, an area in which Thailand Post has long been proficient. This has led to the development of the EMS JUMBO service, designed with the concept of handling heavy and large items with ease. Customers can send heavy and large items weighing between 30 – 200 kilograms with a fast delivery standard of 2 - 4 days.

The service fee is calculated in two ways: based on actual weight, starting at 200 baht for the first 30 kilograms, averaging only 6 baht per kilogram, with the total dimensions (width + length + height) not exceeding 600 centimeters.

Additionally, the service fee for ready-made products, such as electrical appliances, starts at 200 baht; vehicles start at 600 baht; and furniture starts at 300 baht.

This service covers all areas, including islands and remote regions across 77 provinces. There is also compensation for loss or damage during postal delivery, based on the actual value of the damage, up to 5,000 baht per item, with the option to purchase insurance for additional coverage up to 200,000 baht.

For the EMS JUMBO service, Thailand Post offers exclusive privileges for POST Family members, providing discounts of up to 15% on shipping costs for this service from now until March 20, 2023.
