Srisa Wat Corporation Public Company Limited (SAWAD) is preparing to offer bonds to general investors. The bonds will have a maturity of 3 years with a yield of 3.70-3.90% per annum, with interest paid every 3 months. The offering is expected to take place from August 1-3, 2022. The company and the bonds have been rated 'BBB+' with a 'stable' outlook by Tris Rating as of June 2, 2022, which is considered investment grade. The company is confident that it will receive a positive response from investors looking for stable, reliable bonds with growth potential.

Ms. Thida Kaewbutta, Director of Corporate Strategy at SAWAD, revealed that the company has submitted a report on the bond offering and a draft prospectus to the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue and offer registered bonds, which are non-subordinated, secured, and have a bondholder representative, to the public. The bonds will have a fixed interest rate of 3.70-3.90% per annum, with the exact rate to be confirmed later, and interest will be paid every 3 months. The funds raised from this bond offering will be used to repay maturing bonds in August 2022 and to expand the company's operations, particularly in personal loans, supporting the sustainable growth of the Srisa Wat group.

The company is aware of the need for sustainable business operations and aims for holistic business development without relying solely on one sector. It has continuously restructured its internal business. Recently, the board of directors approved the return of the license of Srisa Wat Finance Public Company Limited (BFIT) to the Bank of Thailand and the merger of Srisa Wat Capital Company Limited (SCAP) with BFIT to provide hire purchase services to individual customers looking to buy new motorcycles. This merger is part of the business restructuring plan of the Srisa Wat group to drive SCAP, which oversees the lending business, towards significant growth. The company will primarily manage the pawn business, while BFIT will focus on other lending services, such as comprehensive hire purchase and unsecured personal loans. The merger requires shareholder approval and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year.

Financial institutions distributing the bonds are confident that the SAWAD bonds offered in early August 2022 will receive a favorable response from investors, as has been the case in the past, especially from those looking to invest in bonds issued by stable and reliable companies with growth potential. This will be the first time SAWAD offers bonds to the general public, allowing interested investors to subscribe through six financial institutions, with a minimum subscription of 100,000 baht and increments of 100,000 baht thereafter.
