"Hampton Hotel and Residence" Enters the Foreign Tenant Market, Targeting Expats at "Hampton Residence Next to Emporium" as the Country Reopens
"Hampton Hotel and Residence Management" part of Origin Property Group is enhancing its network by collaborating with 49 agents across Bangkok to penetrate the foreign serviced apartment rental market, aiming to attract expats from over 2,000 companies in Japan and Asia. The goal is to draw guests to the luxurious 5-star serviced apartment "Hampton Residence Next to Emporium" in the heart of Sukhumvit. They are confident in providing continuous returns for investors, expecting rental income from serviced apartments to exceed 240 million baht in 2022.

Ms. Jatuporn Wilai Kaew, CEO of Hampton Hotel and Residence Management Co., Ltd. under Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI) stated that after establishing Hampton Hotel and Residence Management Co., Ltd., the company has fully expanded into hotel and residence management services to support asset management services, planning for decoration, and providing services and amenities for tenants or guests. Recently, the company has partnered with various relocation agents from 49 nationalities across Bangkok to expand its network for sourcing foreign tenants looking to rent serviced apartments in Bangkok, especially in the Phrom Phong-Thonglor area, which is a central business district (CBD) that attracts long-stay foreigners.
"The policy of reopening the country has led to increased interest from both tourists and investors in returning to Thailand for long-term stays. Collaborating with 49 agents will help expand the network of foreign companies investing in Thailand, particularly Japanese companies and various other Asian nationalities, totaling over 2,000 companies. This will enable the company to reach employees and expats at the executive and managerial levels in Bangkok and the Industrial Area, which averages over 90,000 annually, representing a high-potential group interested in renting serviced apartments in Sukhumvit at rates ranging from 45,000 to 180,000 baht per month."
Initially, the company has taken over the management of Hampton Residence Next to Emporium, a luxurious 5-star business serviced apartment located in the prime area known as the "Golden Egg" in the heart of Sukhumvit, alongside the ORIGIN Investment Property Program, which offers regular income to investors with returns of up to 5-9% per year*, paying dividends through Mutual Benefit or Pool Dividend every quarter (4 times a year) for a duration of 10+10 years or up to a maximum of 20 years*. Investment units start from 12-18 million baht. It is expected that this collaboration with relocation agents will help penetrate the expat market for this project, providing continuous and stable returns for investors as targeted.
Currently, the company is managing the Hampton Residences brand and The Hampton Suites across several projects in Bangkok and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), with plans to expand services to the hotel and residential markets in five key economic cities: Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. It is anticipated that by 2022, rental income from the Hampton brand serviced apartments will exceed 240 million baht.
"We have been strong in the Long-Stay market for a long time, as evidenced by the hotel and serviced apartment projects under the Origin Property Group, which continue to maintain an average occupancy rate higher than the overall market even during the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate that the serviced apartment rental market will continue to improve next year as the COVID-19 situation begins to ease," Ms. Jatuporn stated.
