Nexus in an Era of Crisis with a Campaign That Never Stops

“No one ever predicted that COVID-19 would Fast Forward our lives this much” said Nalinnat Charoensupong, Managing Director of Nexus Property Co., Ltd. during the initial COVID-19 situation that arose at the beginning of 2020.

“However, amidst the COVID-19 situation, there were still advantages because it made us realize what we could actually do. Some things we had thought about but hadn’t acted on, we finally did. Importantly, it showed us that we have a great teamwork that allows Nexus to continue moving forward together strongly” Nalinnat is not the only one who feels this way; we all likely share the same sentiment. In the private sector, managing to keep the organization going is a significant challenge.

When it comes to the real estate business, consulting firms in sales, project management, and marketing are limited to no more than 10 top players in Thailand, and “Nexus” is one of them.

As COVID-19 forced us into a Work from Home situation with lockdowns and numerous government regulations, such as travel bans and restrictions on gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus, the country faced rapid regression. During that time, Nexus was the first real estate consultant to launch a campaign to aid in the sale of condominiums under the campaign titled “Gathering Series”, which consisted of 3 series, starting with “Gathering Condos at Below-Cost Prices” in May 2020. This was followed by the campaign “Gathering Lovers of Lat Phrao” in early June 2020, and another campaign at the end of June 2020 titled “Gathering City Dwellers: Catzila the Cat Invades the City”.

Nalinnat revealed about the various campaigns, stating, “At the very least, we need to generate income for the company. Our friends in the same Eco-System as us need to have sales. We must rise to the occasion, not just for ourselves but for everyone at Nexus and all our partners”. Her determination led to sales reaching 300 million baht during that period, with over 30 operators participating in the campaign.

In 2021, as everything seemed to be going well, a new wave of COVID-19 emerged, requiring us to brace ourselves once again. Nexus returned with a new campaign titled “Luxury House Grand Sale” under the management of the same capable female executive. Nalinnat stated, “The previous COVID-19 situation has shifted consumer behavior towards purchasing “houses” more. Therefore, we see an opportunity to market and sell “houses”, especially luxury homes, as they can meet all needs in the current situation, whether it’s about privacy, usable space, safety, and importantly, this customer segment still has financial liquidity. Coupled with Nexus's expertise in market analysis and luxury home sales, this campaign can become a reality, creating opportunities for the organization while providing value to consumers in terms of promotions and prices with significant discounts on luxury homes, which are not often seen.”

“Luxury House Grand Sale” is a campaign that returns with the new wave of COVID-19. We will have to see how marketers and opportunity seekers like Nexus can create excitement and success with this campaign.

But whatever happens, one thing that proves is that organizations that do not give up will always find a way forward. “Nexus Property” in an era that must dream through the COVID-19 crisis, even without its own products to sell, has managed to “move forward” without a doubt under the leadership of the strong woman named “Nalinnat Charoensupong”
