The Government Housing Bank (GHB) is stimulating the economy and giving back to customers in celebration of its 66th anniversary on September 24, 2019, by preparing a budget of 27 billion baht to create the 'Cloud Home' loan product. The interest rate is set at 0.66% per annum fixed for the first 6 months, followed by 2.66% per annum for months 7-20, and 3.66% per annum for months 21-36. The average interest rate for the first 3 years is only 2.77%, with repayment terms of up to 40 years. Special offer: waiver of the loan application fee of 0.1% of the loan amount. Applications for loans and legal transactions can be submitted from now until December 27, 2019.

Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Managing Director of the Government Housing Bank (GHB), stated that to support the government's economic stimulus policy and to give back to the public on the occasion of its 66th anniversary on September 24, 2019, GHB, as a state-owned financial institution with the mission of "Helping Thais Own Homes", has prepared a budget of 27 billion baht to create the 'Cloud Home' loan product. This aims to provide opportunities for people of all income levels to access loan amounts to secure their own housing, improve their quality of life, create stability in family institutions, and generate cash flow in the economy through the real estate sector. The product details are as follows:

1. For loan amounts not exceeding 2 million baht for individuals with a total monthly income not exceeding 25,000 baht, the special interest rate is 0.66% per annum fixed for the first 6 months, followed by 2.66% per annum for months 7-20, and 3.66% per annum for months 21-36. The average interest rate for the first 3 years is only 2.77% per annum. In the 4th year, the interest rate will be MRR-2.00% per annum, and from the 5th year until the end of the loan term, for welfare customers, the interest rate will be MRR-1.00% per annum, and for general retail customers, it will be MRR-0.75% per annum (currently, GHB's MRR rate is 6.625% per annum). The purpose of the loan is for purchasing and constructing, with repayment terms of up to 40 years. Special offer: waiver of the loan application fee of 0.1% of the loan amount for all loan accounts under the same collateral.

2. For loan amounts exceeding 2 million baht, the special interest rate is 0.66% per annum fixed for the first 6 months, followed by 2.66% per annum for months 7-20, and 3.66% per annum for months 21-36. The average interest rate for the first 3 years is also 2.77% per annum. In the 4th year and throughout the loan term, for welfare customers, the interest rate will be MRR-1.00% per annum, and for general retail customers, it will be MRR-0.50% per annum. The loan is intended for purchasing, constructing, extending, renovating, or buying vacant land classified as NPA assets of GHB, including additional loans for construction, extension, and renovation (the additional loan amount must be combined with the remaining principal under the same collateral and exceed 2 million baht). Repayment terms can be up to 40 years. Special offer: waiver of the loan application fee of 0.1% of the loan amount for loan accounts using the 'Cloud Home' loan product.
