On February 3, 2026, the National Housing Authority is advancing its mission under the policy of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, 'Close to You', which aims to reduce expenses, generate income, and restart lives for the people, particularly for low- and middle-income groups. This is achieved by promoting access to affordable and suitable housing while simultaneously enhancing the quality of life in tangible ways.

General Supachai Malaniyom, Chairman of the National Housing Authority, stated that the authority remains a key government mechanism for providing housing to the public, especially for low- and middle-income groups. It is also adapting its role and modernizing its operations by integrating data and technology into management practices to generate income that will fund its mission.

The Chairman noted that the organization is transitioning from being a quantity-focused housing developer to a strategic entity that views 'housing' as a crucial urban infrastructure. It will utilize data as a tool for planning and development to create quality and sustainable communities under the concept of 'Smart Data City'.

For the year 2026, the National Housing Authority plans to implement a total of 91 housing development projects, comprising 25,987 units. This includes rental housing projects for low-income individuals, the third phase of housing development, government housing projects, and housing for all age groups to expand opportunities for the public to access quality housing comprehensively.

General Supachai further stated that the National Housing Authority will enhance operational efficiency in all aspects, including project development, construction, delivery, and asset management, by applying the Model 4M concept alongside personnel development, digital technology utilization, and systematic data management. Concurrently, the authority will continue to develop projects under the 'Housing for All' concept, along with housing for the elderly, rental management, and urban community revitalization, while elevating the organization to become a data-driven entity through the development of a National Housing Data Center and a database of real housing needs to support effective planning and policy decision-making.

All of this reflects the elevation of the National Housing Authority's role from 'home builder' to 'city builder', aimed at ensuring housing security, enhancing the quality of life for citizens, and laying the foundation for long-term urban and community development in the country.
