SUNRISE YOGA: Energizing Mornings and Building Community at IDEO
IDEO Invites Residents to Celebrate International Yoga Day with SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden, Connecting Through a Coffee Party and Community Gathering with Over 50 Participants
On the morning of June 21, 2026, the garden area within the IDEO MOBI Sukhumvit Eastpoint project was transformed into a space for movement, relaxation, and socializing through the SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden event organized by IDEO in honor of International Yoga Day.
This event encouraged residents and interested individuals to start their day by reconnecting with their bodies and minds through a yoga class amidst the lush atmosphere of the garden, followed by a time for conversation, getting to know one another, and building relationships among community members.
With over 50 participants, this event reflects that modern living spaces serve not only as places to reside but also as communal areas that allow people to care for themselves, connect with nature, and foster relationships simultaneously.
A morning may seem like a brief moment, but starting the day with movement, breathing, and a relaxed atmosphere can change the rhythm of the entire day.
Kickstart Your Morning with Yoga With Fern
The event began with a morning yoga class led by Teacher Fern from Yoga With Fern, who designed the practice to allow participants to gradually move their bodies, stretch their muscles, and build flexibility through yoga poses suitable for the morning ambiance.
Surrounded by large trees and green spaces within the project, participants took time to focus on their breathing rhythms while momentarily setting aside the rush of daily life.
What made this yoga class special was not just the sequence of poses but the experience of practicing in an open space, which created a different atmosphere compared to exercising in a closed room.
Natural light, the morning breeze, and the green environment became essential elements that enhanced the event's atmosphere, making it feel relaxed, friendly, and accessible for all participants.
SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden does not focus on competition or performing the most difficult poses but opens the space for everyone to move at their own pace.
International Yoga Day: A Return to Self-Care
June 21st each year has been designated as International Yoga Day to promote awareness of yoga's role as an activity that connects movement, breathing, and balance in life.
For urban dwellers facing busy schedules, commuting, and an overload of information throughout the day, finding time for oneself does not always have to start with a significant change.
Sometimes, waking up a little earlier, spending time in nature, or stretching mindfully can be the starting point for genuine and sustainable self-care.
The SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden event reflects the idea of integrating wellness into daily life, showing that one does not need to travel far or wait for ample free time but can begin right from the nearby spaces within their residential project.
From Yoga Class to Coffee Party
After the yoga class, the atmosphere continued with a Coffee Party, providing participants with a chance to relax, refresh, and engage in friendly conversations.
This time helped transform participants who may have only passed each other in the project into acquaintances through easy conversations on a weekend morning.
A cup of coffee thus served not only to recharge after exercising but became a medium for natural conversation to begin.
A strong community is not built solely on the number of shared spaces but through designing opportunities for people to come together in those spaces.
Creating spaces for residents to meet continuously helps transform residential projects from mere places where people return after work into spaces that can create experiences, memories, and relationships.

Community Gathering: Connecting People Through Meaningful Activities
This event is also part of creating a Community Gathering, a space for people with shared interests to come together.
Even though each participant may have different lifestyles, ages, or life schedules, the yoga activity and relaxed atmosphere helped create connections that made it easier for everyone to start conversations.
The participation of over 50 people demonstrates the demand for activities that are not just about temporary fun but can add value to daily life in terms of self-care, relaxation, and building community relationships.
From the perspective of residential project development, such activities help enliven communal areas, making gardens or relaxation spaces not just physical components but areas that are actively used and filled with stories of the people within.
When Green Spaces Become Part of Urban Life
IDEO MOBI Sukhumvit Eastpoint is developed under the concept that connects urban living with nature and technology through the IDEO MOBI Future–Nature philosophy.
The project spans approximately 7 rai, 3 ngan, and 24.5 square wah, consisting of two high-rise buildings 32 stories each, totaling 1,165 units, along with communal areas that support various activities.
The project includes central gardens, swimming pools, fitness rooms, a Social Club, and a Panoramic Lounge, designed to accommodate exercise, relaxation, and spending time with others.
The SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden event exemplifies how these spaces can be utilized for more than just facilities listed in project details.
The garden can serve as a morning exercise area.
The Social Club can be a meeting space.
The communal areas can be the starting point for relationships among people.
When these elements are connected through suitable activities, residential spaces can meet life needs beyond just comfort.
Urban Living That Balances Travel and Relaxation
IDEO MOBI Sukhumvit Eastpoint is located on Sukhumvit Road, approximately 250 meters from BTS Bangna Station, facilitating convenient travel to business districts and important areas of Bangkok.
At the same time, the project is close to several main roads and expressways, including Sukhumvit Road, Bangna-Trad Road, Chalerm Mahanakorn Expressway, Burapha Withi Expressway, and Kanchanaphisek Expressway.
This location reflects the nature of urban living that must balance the speed of travel with the availability of relaxation spaces.
On days when people need to spend time commuting, working, and managing various responsibilities, having green spaces or communal areas close to home makes self-care much easier.
Whether it's walking, exercising, resting, or participating in activities with neighbors, these spaces can become part of daily routines without adding travel time to life.
Residential Spaces That Extend Beyond the Doorstep
The concept of modern living is shifting from focusing solely on personal space to considering the overall experience within the project.
The important question is not just about the size of the rooms or the number of amenities in the project but also how those spaces can help residents lead better lives.
The SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden event demonstrates that communal areas can be utilized to create value on multiple levels.
Level One: Self-Care
Participants moved their bodies and started their mornings with activities that promote vitality.
Level Two: Utilizing Natural Spaces
The garden within the project was used as an actual activity space, not just a backdrop for architecture.
Level Three: Building Relationships
The Coffee Party and Community Gathering provided opportunities for residents and participants to converse and get to know each other better.
Level Four: Creating a Community Culture
As activities occur continuously, residential spaces have the opportunity to develop into communities where people feel involved and connected to one another.
Starting Small to Enhance Quality of Life
The image of over 50 people gathering in the garden on a morning may represent an event that took place in just a few hours, but what transpired holds more significance than just attending a single yoga class.
This activity reflects the power of designing spaces and experiences that begin from an understanding of people's real lives.
In a city filled with hustle and bustle, people may not always seek complex activities but may be looking for spaces that allow them to pause, care for themselves, and meet those nearby.
Because quality of life is not just about beautiful spaces but about moments when people can meaningfully share those spaces together.
SUNRISE YOGA in the Garden is another activity that reflects IDEO's philosophy of connecting living spaces, nature, wellness, and community.
From stretching in the morning sunlight to conversations over coffee, every moment helps enliven the garden within the project and expands the meaning of "home" beyond just the space within the apartment.
See you in the Garden
