Ms. Narathnaree Ratpattay, Managing Director of Sukhumvit Asset Management Company Limited (SAM) and her team from the “Debt Clinic Project” participated in the opening ceremony of the Money Expo 2024 and set up a booth in collaboration with the Bank of Thailand (BOT) to provide counseling to individuals with bad debts from credit cards, cash cards, and unsecured personal loans from participating financial institutions. This event took place from May 16-19 at the Challenger Building, Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Mr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, the Governor of the BOT, and Ms. Rung Mallikamas, the Deputy Governor of the BOT, honored the booth of the “Debt Clinic Project” with their visit. Additionally, a special seminar titled “Debt from Cards Can Be Solved If You Are Determined” was held, inviting clients from the project to share their experiences and promote the Debt Clinic Project to raise awareness about the debt issues that arise. SAM also set up a negotiation table to provide clients with advice on restructuring their debts at the booth of the Department of Legal Execution.
