CPAC Green Solution builds on the success of 3D Concrete Printing technology, advancing the CPAC 3D Printing Solution to meet customer needs across all segments including Decoration, Landscape & Sculpture, Construction, and Coral Reef, in line with the operational philosophy “A PART OF YOUR SUCCESS: Supporting Your Every Achievement”. The highlight is the production of Thailand's first Low Carbon cement formula, capable of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by up to 27%, contributing to sustainable environmental care and aiming for Net Zero by 2050. This will be officially launched at the ‘67: Architect Expo 2024’ from April 30 to May 5, 2024 at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani.

Ms. Kanya Varunno, Green Solution and New Business Marketing Director in the Cement and Green Solution Business under SCG, revealed that CPAC Green Solution is a leader in comprehensive construction innovation for the environment, being the first to introduce 3D Concrete Printing technology into Thailand's construction industry. This technology allows for digital modeling from 3D printers that accurately calculates concrete material usage, is environmentally friendly, and helps reduce construction waste.

“We see an opportunity to elevate Thailand's construction industry, so we initiated the development of a new construction innovation, CPAC 3D Printing Solution, from 3D Concrete Printing since 2014 to create works that meet the diverse needs of lifestyles, from developers and contractors to designers and homeowners. The uniqueness of this innovation is its ability to construct freeform shapes, known as Parametric Design, allowing for the creation of walls with curves and flowing patterns as desired, which is currently quite challenging in traditional construction. We have received very positive feedback from customers,” she added.

Ms. Kanya further stated that this year the company aims to expand its reach across all segments in line with the operational philosophy “A PART OF YOUR SUCCESS: Supporting Your Every Achievement”, including Decoration with stylish design works, Landscape & Sculpture creating iconic future spaces, Construction with the first two-story building in Thailand, and Coral Reef for restoring underwater coral reefs. Recently, they developed a special cement formula made from natural materials through a production process that emphasizes renewable energy, along with Materials Science technology to achieve a Low Carbon formula specifically for shaping works with CPAC 3D Printing Solution. This special cement can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 27% or approximately 65 kg CO2, equivalent to planting about 7 trees compared to regular cement, making it the first producer in Thailand.

“In the future, the company will continue to develop cement that helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions even further, aiming for net greenhouse gas emissions to reach zero by 2050, while enhancing the diversity of products that cover more applications. We are confident that our research and development experience will meet customer needs and elevate Thailand's construction industry to grow sustainably,” she concluded.

To raise awareness among target groups, CPAC Green Solution will showcase the CPAC 3D Printing Solution made from Low Carbon cement at the ‘67: Architect Expo 2024’ under the concept of ‘CPAC GREEN CONNECTIVITY’, creating spaces with the idea of green space design to connect people and the environment. The booth will be divided into 3 zones: Decoration for stylish design works, Construction featuring the CPAC 3D Tree House, a semi-two-story tree house measuring 2.14 m wide × 3.63 m long × 4.4 m high, and Landscape & Sculpture showcasing the creative sculpture of the future, The Catenary Arch, designed by Design Synthesis, along with an introduction to 3D printing technology.
