National Housing Authority Inspects New Buildings in Din Daeng Community Revitalization Project Phase 2, Preparing for Handover to Residents
National Housing Authority held a meeting to prepare residents for moving into the new buildings of the Din Daeng Community Revitalization Project Phase 2, Building D1, Model 4. The meeting was attended by Mr. Anusarn Atthawit, a board member of the National Housing Authority, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amnat Jamratjarungphol, another board member, and Mr. Somjet Prabhanbanit, Deputy Governor of the National Housing Authority, along with relevant staff and residents from the Din Daeng community revitalization project at Flats 31 – 32, held at the Phothi Courtyard of Flat 32 in Din Daeng, Bangkok.

Mr. Thaveepong Vichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority stated that this activity was organized to prepare residents of Flats 31 – 32 for their upcoming move into Building D1, providing them with updates on the progress of the Din Daeng community revitalization project Phase 2, as well as important details such as housing regulations, family expansion rights, compensation claims, and relocation costs.
The meeting received positive feedback from the residents, who have begun sorting their belongings to take to the new building, separating usable items from those that are no longer needed for sale or donation. Conversations revealed that everyone is satisfied and excited to move from the old building to the new one in Building D1, as the previous building has been inhabited for a long time and remaining there would not be safe for their lives and property.
Residents who attended the meeting expressed their gratitude to the National Housing Authority for prioritizing the safety of the community's residents. The Din Daeng community has been around for over 50 years, leading residents to witness the deterioration of the buildings over time. Soon, they will be able to move into new, stable, and strong buildings equipped with better facilities and safer amenities at an affordable cost. They thanked the National Housing Authority for improving their quality of life.

“We must thank the National Housing Authority Board for their commitment to the Din Daeng community revitalization project and their concern for the residents. They have instructed the National Housing Authority to thoroughly inspect Building D1 before handing it over to the residents. If any defects are found, they must be addressed immediately. Additionally, if residents have any questions regarding the project, they are encouraged to ask the National Housing Authority staff directly, as they are best equipped to answer questions and alleviate concerns. This ensures that everyone receives consistent information and understanding. The National Housing Authority staff are ready to assist all residents of Din Daeng,” Mr. Thaveepong emphasized.
