Customer safety is always our top priority at IKEA. We have decided to recall the USB ÅSKSTORM 40W in dark gray due to the risk of electric shock and burns caused by deterioration of the power cord. IKEA develops products using rigorous risk assessments and testing to ensure compliance with all laws and standards in every country where the products are sold. Despite these measures, we found that the power cord of the USB ÅSKSTORM 40W may become damaged or defective from wrapping the cord around the charger or bending the cord after prolonged use.
