Origin EEC has changed its company name to Origin Nationwide in line with its new direction under the Origin Infinity plan, expanding from its focus on the EEC to developing condos nationwide. The company celebrates the success of Sold Out The Origin Center Phuket and The Origin Campus Khon Kaen, with plans to penetrate Phuket, Chonburi, Korat, and Khon Kaen in the second half of the year while actively seeking new land parcels. The goal is to develop a cumulative total of 13,000 units worth 26 billion baht by the end of 2023.

Mr. Phumiphat Rittithada, Chief Executive Officer of Origin Nationwide Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Origin Property Public Company Limited (OR), revealed that the announcement of the growth plan Origin Infinity aims to expand from its previous focus on Bangkok and the EEC to a nationwide real estate and service empire. Consequently, the company has changed its name from Origin EEC Co., Ltd. to Origin Nationwide Co., Ltd. (Origin Nationwide), shifting its focus from developing condominium projects in the EEC to developing condos across the country, excluding Bangkok and its vicinity, to align with the growth direction of the Origin group and to reach consumers in new locations more effectively.

“Earlier this year, we began testing the waters by launching two projects in new locations outside the EEC,” he said:

“We received an excellent response, with consumers trusting the reliable developer from the Origin Property group and appreciating the layout and design of the rooms and common areas that are practical. This led to both projects being Sold Out. The name change to Origin Nationwide symbolizes the celebration of our success in expanding into major urban areas and confirms the company's confidence in further penetrating various regions across the country,” Mr. Phumiphat stated.

In the first half of 2023, the company has launched a total of 5 new projects worth approximately 5.63 billion baht, consisting of 3 projects in the EEC and 2 projects in major cities, using the brand The Origin, which caters to the needs of the new generation, Gen Y-Gen Z, and first-jobbers. This is the core strategy for the 5 projects to provide functional rooms and common areas that meet the needs of the new generation across the country.

Mr. Phumiphat further stated that in the second half of 2023, the company plans to launch 6 new condominium projects, building on its success, with a total project value of over 6 billion baht, including brands like So Origin, The Origin, and Origin Place in the EEC and major cities nationwide, including Phuket, Chonburi, Korat, and Khon Kaen. The focus will be on targeting the Gen X-Gen Y market in the Upper Class and High Class segments, emphasizing design and service that enhance lifestyle needs for living and relaxation in these areas. At the same time, due to the continuously increasing demand for housing in major urban areas, the company is actively seeking new potential land parcels across the country to prepare for future growth that meets consumer needs in all areas.

Should operations proceed as planned, it is expected that by the end of this year, the company will have a total of 24 projects developed since its inception, with a total project value of over 26 billion baht, covering 13,000 units, and will be a key player in the Origin Property group in addressing the housing and lifestyle needs of consumers.
