The Credit Guarantee Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprises (CGCSME) <\/span>has joined forces with <\/span>KX Office at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi <\/span>to advance the "Project for Developing Mechanisms to Foster Growth in Entrepreneurs through Innovation and Professional Business and Financial Management," strengthening Thai SMEs <\/span>in line with the Thailand 4.0 policy, enhancing and building upon research to business applications.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Mr. Sitthikorn Direksunthorn, Director and General Manager of the Credit Guarantee Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprises (CGCSME)<\/strong> <\/span>along with Dr. Phatcharath Komolkit, Chief Executive Officer of KX Office at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi<\/strong><\/span> signed a cooperation agreement for the "Project for Developing Mechanisms to Foster Growth in Entrepreneurs through Innovation and Professional Business and Financial Management," aimed at supporting SMEs to enhance organizational capabilities and competitiveness, providing knowledge in academia and research funding to effectively scale their businesses.<\/span><\/p>

The CGCSME will support SMEs in accessing loans and funding sources through a "credit guarantee" system and serve as a "financial consulting center for SMEs," promoting various knowledge areas for SMEs in collaboration with KX Office to enhance SMEs through four main approaches:<\/span><\/p>

1. To promote and support the application of research, innovation, and technology in developing SMEs.<\/p>

2. To create connections and integration across various sectors (Ecosystem) to foster learning and enable further development, allowing systematic and comprehensive access to SME development services, including connections to services from networks, partners, and various agencies.<\/p>

3. To establish a business mentoring system for SMEs.<\/p>

4. To create opportunities for SMEs to access various funding sources.<\/p>

This cooperation project aligns with the national strategy to drive the country towards Industry 4.0 or Thailand 4.0, focusing on promoting, supporting, and developing SMEs across 11 industrial groups, including the future automotive industry, smart electronics, high-income tourism and health tourism, agriculture and biotechnology, future food industry, aviation and logistics, digital industry, comprehensive medical industry, defense industry, industries supporting the circular economy, and human resource development and research for targeted industries, aiming to create sustainable wealth for Thailand in the 22nd century.<\/p>
