SC Asset has partnered with GPSC to develop clean energy innovations and implement an electricity management system for real estate projects in residential areas and condominiums. This initiative aims to serve as a model before expanding to other projects, while also enhancing a new electricity business that aligns with global energy trends, ensuring it meets consumer demands and environmental concerns by promoting efficient energy use.

Ms. Rosaya Thiarawan, Deputy Managing Director of Business Development at Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), a leading electricity innovation company under PTT Group, revealed that GPSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Direk Tayaidee, Head of Tech Solutions at SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, to develop renewable energy projects and energy innovations in SC Asset's development areas, including single houses, townhomes, condominiums, and office buildings. The plan includes integrating modern energy technologies and electricity management systems to maximize energy efficiency over a two-year period.

As a company with expertise in electricity generation and utilities, GPSC will collaborate with SC Asset to study the feasibility and develop infrastructure for efficient electricity management in project areas. The plan includes introducing environmentally friendly innovations and technologies that effectively meet user needs in the area.

For SC Asset, Mr. Direk Tayaidee stated, “This collaboration with GPSC will serve as a model for developing clean energy innovations that support future global trends in single houses, townhomes, condominiums, and office buildings under the SCero Mission policy, aiming for growth in a new world while creating sustainable value for the environment for future generations.”

This collaboration marks a significant step for both organizations to jointly study and drive the development of electricity management systems in real estate projects, serving as a model for future electricity management. This will lead to the development of new electricity business models that emphasize clean energy use, integrating technology and innovations for maximum efficiency, while also allowing for the expansion of studies and development in other project areas in line with the current global trend towards environmentally friendly energy use. This prepares for the country's energy transition towards clean energy, aiming for carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions.

Ms. Rosaya further stated that this joint operational plan will encompass defining directions, strategies, technical feasibility, market aspects, and pricing structures to guide the development of business models and collaboration forms, considering cost reduction, efficient energy use, and electricity system stability. The scope of collaboration and development includes:

  1. Electricity generation from clean energy combined with battery storage systems and backup electricity systems.
  2. Developing an Energy Management System for efficient electricity management in future project areas, such as rental office buildings, to ensure effective and energy-saving operations.
  3. Studying and developing other business models, such as electrical safety systems within homes and buildings.
  4. Integrating energy management applications or related applications for trial use with SC Asset's Super application to support smart home technology.

This collaboration represents the development of an electricity innovation system that allows the public to access and utilize energy efficiently and cost-effectively, aligning with the government's promotion of clean and environmentally friendly energy use.
