Sansiri Partners with Allies to Encourage Residents to Turn Off Lights to Combat Global Warming - Join the Earth Hour Event on March 26!

‘Sansiri’, the first leader in the Thai real estate industry to set a goal for a Net Zero mission, invites ‘Plus Property’, ‘Exspring’ and ‘The Standard Hua Hin’, ‘The Peary Hotel Hua Hin and Khao Yai’, hotels under Standard International managed by Sansiri Public Company Limited to join forces with Sansiri residents to turn off the lights... allowing the world to rest and unplug unnecessary electrical appliances for one hour. This initiative will involve all branches, including residential projects in every province, construction projects such as single houses, townhomes, and condos, Siri Campus, all offices managed by Plus Property, Habito Mall, precast concrete factories, The Standard Hua Hin, and The Peary Hotel Hua Hin and Khao Yai, totaling 307 locations.
The goal is to reduce electricity consumption by over 5,000 kilowatt-hours, which will help decrease carbon emissions into nature by no less than 3,000 kilograms of carbon (kgCO2e), equivalent to planting over 150 trees, and reduce common area electricity costs by over 30,000 baht per hour. This initiative aims to raise awareness about efficient energy use in daily life, which can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a major cause of global warming and climate change currently affecting the world. Let’s turn off the lights together for one hour! From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on March 26! Join with countries around the globe.
Sansiri is looking beyond just reducing electricity use sustainably and efficiently in the long term. The goal is for every Sansiri project to utilize clean energy, advancing towards the Net Zero mission to help the world achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions. They are implementing 100% Solar Roof installations in every single house and common areas in all new projects, as well as expanding plans to install EV Chargers in all condo projects, covering all high-end single house projects completed from 2022 onwards.
