“The charm of handcrafted guitars lies in passion or love for woodworking. It's quite strange; it starts as a piece of wood and we turn it into a musical instrument. I don’t just love guitars; I want to create them. Every time I finish making a guitar, I feel that this is happiness,” Typhoon shares about his long-standing love for crafting for over 20 years.

His passion began from a young age, leading him to want to make his own guitar. When he had the chance to meet a guitar maker who is a mentor to many guitar makers in Thailand, he became interested and started making guitars seriously. Typhoon's work has been recognized by many famous artists.

With love and attention as the foundation, his work has received great feedback. It may not be measured by the amount of money or the number of guitars produced, but rather by the immeasurable happiness it brings. Previously, Typhoon rented a shop outside to work, which didn’t meet his time needs. When 'home' is the best starting point... and the dream of one day having a guitar craft studio at home became a reality, Typhoon began renovating his home space into a craft studio to fulfill his dream of another beloved profession.

“The impact of COVID-19 this year has been really tough. Sometimes I feel exhausted, not knowing how to move forward. One day, I looked out at the yard and thought, why not create a studio at home? I spent some time studying and then decided to take action, believing this time everything would move forward. The dream would come true in the space we call our home. Additionally, AP Thailand launched a marketplace creating a new income model called NEIGHBOR SERVICE, where everyone can open a shop using their special abilities as products. My shop is in the music category, offering handcrafted guitars. Anyone interested can reach out to chat with me,” he said.

The difference between a guitar we buy in stores and a handcrafted guitar is that a handcrafted guitar is one-of-a-kind in the world. It’s a guitar that customers can customize to reflect their individuality,” said the guitar maker with over 5 years of experience, assuring that every guitar he makes goes through a meticulous and careful creation process at every step, from material selection, cutting, sanding, to finishing, with each piece taking up to 3 months.

Today, the studio space for expression is complete, allowing Typhoon to pursue his new dream. The size of the studio is not as important compared to the story that inspires everyone to start anew, and home will always be the best space to create greatness in our lives once again.
