Vendors at On Nut Market and Employees in Sathorn Area Report 2 New COVID-19 Cases
Employees in a luxury building in Sathorn tested positive for COVID-19.
On December 25, 2020, the management of Sathorn City Tower announced that a COVID-19 case had been detected in the building. On December 24, the management received information from a tenant company on the 15th floor that one of their employees was in a high-risk group due to a relative testing positive for COVID-19, necessitating testing for the employee.
Today (December 25), the management was informed that the employee had tested positive for COVID-19. The tenant company on the 15th floor has implemented a Work From Home policy and is following the disease control measures as per the Ministry of Public Health's guidelines.
Sathorn City Tower has conducted thorough disinfection of the 15th floor, including the central elevator and common areas on the 3rd and 1st floors. The management has also instructed the tenant company to quarantine all other employees who had close contact with the infected employee for 14 days.

Meanwhile, On Nut Market has reported 1 additional COVID-19 case, bringing the total to 2 cases.
On the same day (December 25, 2020), the On Nut Freshmart page announced the results of COVID-19 tests for seafood vendors. The market had previously informed that one vendor regularly sourced seafood from Samut Sakhon and instructed the vendor who picked up the goods to stop selling and self-quarantine while undergoing testing at the hospital. This vendor's stall was closed since the afternoon of Monday, December 21. The market was later notified by the public health center that the vendor who picked up seafood tested positive for COVID-19. Additionally, the Public Health Center 21 of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration collected samples from 10 residents who had close contact with the vendor, resulting in 1 more positive case. It was confirmed that this individual was a regular seller at the same seafood stall.
Currently, both patients have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The Health Department will announce the timeline of the two COVID-19 cases shortly. On Nut Market has conducted a thorough cleaning and disinfection on December 25, coordinating with Bangkok officials to manage the cleaning and spraying of disinfectants, as well as implementing measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
