LPN ACADEMY Seeks Outstanding University Students to Award LPN Scholarship for Free 4-Year Condo Living
LPN ACADEMY, in collaboration with Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, is on a mission to find talented and deserving students by offering a new scholarship program called LPN SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship provides accommodation in Lumpini Township Rangsit-Klong 1 (Building C2) for free for four years, with 100 scholarships available across 50 units. This initiative is part of the LUMPINI LIVING+ strategy, aimed at generating new income through renting out units, specifically designed as roommate-style apartments suitable for student lifestyles. It promotes quality of life and supports the education of Thai youth.
Mr. Montien Weerothai, Director of LPN Academy at LPN Development Public Company Limited, shared the concept behind the LPN SCHOLARSHIP: “For the past 29 years, our company has focused on creating quality housing at affordable prices for those in need. Each project has units available for sale, and we aim to leverage what we have to benefit others. We are committed to improving the living conditions of students, selecting projects close to educational institutions. We chose Lumpini Township Rangsit-Klong 1 as our pilot project, offering 50 rooms as scholarships to Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, which we believe is a reputable institution close to our condos, making it ideal for students seeking quality accommodation while studying.”
To qualify for the LPN SCHOLARSHIP, students must meet specific criteria set by LPN, with the university responsible for promoting and selecting eligible candidates. The requirements include good behavior and academic performance, as well as a lack of housing or being from a rural area. Both new and current students are eligible to apply.
The design of the units in Lumpini Township Rangsit-Klong 1 for students will feature a roommate style, with room sizes ranging from 21.50 to 22.50 square meters, tailored for student use. The furniture will be arranged for convenience for both occupants. Students will only be responsible for actual utility costs such as water, electricity, and internet. The university is currently in the process of selecting students, aiming to fill all 100 scholarships by September.
“The company believes that this scholarship format alleviates concerns and reduces the financial burden of housing, allowing students to focus fully on their studies. Additionally, if they have free time, they can utilize their skills to give back to the community in various ways, such as participating in volunteer activities within the condo or assisting with community management. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to earn extra income during holidays by working as part-time sales staff at Lumpini Township Rangsit-Klong 1, which not only generates income and enhances experience but also opens doors for future collaboration with LPN,” Mr. Montien concluded.
