Cloud 11 Officially Launches as a 'Creative Landmark', Transforming South Sukhumvit into a New Hub for Innovation and Creative Economy in Asia
Cloud 11, the new creative landmark of Thailand and the Asia region, is officially open for everyone to experience the power of creativity. With an investment of over 20 billion baht on a space of more than 250,000 square meters, the project is designed under the vision of creating comprehensive creative industry infrastructure to connect creators, brands, investors, and consumers. It aims to foster Cross-Business Collaboration and link various industries together to drive the growing creative economy of Thailand, valued at over 1.4 trillion baht, which accounts for about 8% of GDP and creates jobs for over 1 million people nationwide, propelling it strongly on an international level.

Mr. Paul Sirisuntorn, CEO of Cloud 11, stated, "The creative industry in Thailand is at a high potential growth stage. Thai films, series, music, games, and creative content are gaining global recognition. However, future growth requires a Creative Infrastructure that can comprehensively connect businesses, brands, investors, and consumers. Cloud 11 was created to fill this gap by establishing an ecosystem conducive to the creative industry, providing space for experimentation, connecting people and ideas, and creating new opportunities and business extensions for the sustainable growth of Thailand's creative industry in the long term."

Cloud 11 is designed to be the center of the creative industry, linking businesses, brands, and consumers into a single ecosystem through spaces and experiences that promote creativity, learning, experimentation, and innovation. It opens opportunities for cross-industry collaboration, allowing creators, entrepreneurs, and investors to meet, experiment, develop, and extend collaborations in new forms within an environment specifically designed to support the growth of the creative economy, thereby establishing a strong foundation for long-term growth.

The project gathers 11 Passion Engines, or driving forces of the creative industry, covering food, fashion, film, music, dance, art, sports and health, gaming, content creation, festivals, and urban parks. This allows creators, entrepreneurs, and organizations from various fields to meet, exchange knowledge, and extend collaborations through activities, experiences, and infrastructure specifically designed for creativity, including content and music production studios, galleries, event spaces, cinemas, and ongoing programs throughout the year, which will spark new ideas and create continuous business opportunities.

To support creative activities in all dimensions, Cloud 11 has invested over 1 billion baht to develop one of the most comprehensive content production infrastructures in the region, covering everything from international standard filming studios, recording rooms, dance rehearsal spaces, post-production studios, and live commerce facilities that connect directly with the workspaces of organizations and entrepreneurs, ensuring that every step of the commercial creative production process can occur seamlessly within the same ecosystem.

Additionally, Cloud 11 is moving forward to create a network of collaborations with leading organizations and innovative companies both domestically and internationally to promote knowledge exchange, joint project development, and create international business opportunities, which will help attract talent, investors, and leading brands from around the world to enhance and empower the creative business ecosystem. It has also been certified by the Board of Investment (BOI), which will facilitate and provide tax incentives for content and entertainment companies from abroad.

Currently, Cloud 11 has partners, entrepreneurs, and creative businesses such as 1500 Sound Academy, a music school from the United States behind global artists, the new home of the indie cinema Doc Club & Friends, contemporary art gallery Trendy Gallery, Pad Thai Padel, SM True, theCOMMONS, TrueVisions, Kantana, and Cat Radio, along with partners from various industries who have confirmed their participation in the project, along with shops, restaurants, and lifestyle experiences that will be available from day one and will gradually open additional services in subsequent phases to create a destination where people can live, work, meet, and find inspiration throughout the day.

One of the key partners that brings life to the space is theCOMMONS Cloud 11, the largest branch of theCOMMONS, covering over 5,420 square meters, gathering more than 40 restaurants and beverages, serving as the "South Sukhumvit Nourishing Backyard," a space that connects diverse communities in the South Sukhumvit area to meet, exchange ideas, and spend time together through food, music, activities, and experiences that rotate daily.
Additionally, there is Trendy Gallery, a contemporary art gallery that has chosen to open a permanent space at a key location in the project, showcasing works by leading artists from Thailand and abroad, such as Mod-Nisa Srikhamdee or Crybaby Molly, Note-Udom Taepanich, Thum-Wisut Pornimit, the creator of the "Mango Boy," Mackcha, Maggie-Chrarat Saraporn, Karms, Thamthach Saitong, POORBOY, Ton-Kasemwit Chuwiwat, and more.
Including doc club & friends, a cinema and meeting space for documentary and alternative film lovers from around the world, founded by Mo-Kritwath Hirunthapathip and Thida Pholittapong, co-founders of Documentary Club, who partnered with Bas-Nattawut Poonpiriya and Pompam-Niti Chaiyachitathorn to create a bar for industry insiders and interested parties, along with a space for film-related activities, and will be one of the venues for this year's Bangkok International Film Festival.
All of this reflects that Cloud 11 is a project that transcends being a commercial space to become a creative landmark that allows brands to convey stories, build relationships, and connect with consumers through meaningful experiences. As a result, every brand that becomes part of Cloud 11 is not just an operator within the project but also part of a Creative Ecosystem that fosters collaboration with creators, communities, and partners from various industries, both in Thailand and internationally.
Cloud 11 is officially set to open on July 16, 2026, to help propel Thailand to become one of the centers of the creative economy in Asia and open the door to a new experience that integrates art, culture, entertainment, technology, and lifestyle into a single destination.
