Reignwood Park Develops Smart Water and Energy Systems, Advancing Towards a World-Class Quality Community Model with the Concept of a Self-Sustaining Community
Reignwood Park is elevating the standards of real estate development in Thailand by implementing smart water and energy management systems from the project's inception. This initiative aims to lay the groundwork for a Self-Sustaining Community that supports the lifestyles of all age groups under the concept of The World-Class Community for Multi-Generational Living.
Ms. Vorapanit Ruayrungreung, CEO of Reignwood Group, stated: Current real estate development must prioritize strong infrastructure investments to enhance quality of life and support sustainable long-term growth. Reignwood Park recognizes that "water and energy systems" are crucial factors for quality projects. Investing from the early stages of development will help build confidence among residents and establish a solid foundation for the future of the community and the environment. We aim for Reignwood Park to be a model of a World-Class Community that grows in harmony with nature, technology, and quality of life in Thailand, leveraging our experience and expertise in developing mega projects recognized in various countries worldwide, such as Wentworth Golf Club with over 100 years of history in Surrey, England, popular among top golfers globally, the acquisition and restoration of the world-renowned Ten Trinity Square in England, which was damaged during World War II, bringing it back to life and currently operating as the Four Seasons Ten Trinity Square, and the development of Lifestyle Property that integrates golf courses and hotels like Reignwood Pine Valley in Beijing, People's Republic of China.

Currently, Reignwood Park has invested in developing core infrastructure in two areas: comprehensive water management systems and clean energy systems to enhance resource efficiency, reduce long-term costs, and support the project's sustainability goals. One of the key highlights is the heart-shaped reservoir with a capacity of 1 million cubic meters, which serves as the central water management hub for the entire project, along with a Zero Discharge system that can treat and recycle 100% of wastewater, including a clean water production system from deep groundwater at 300 meters using Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology to ensure long-term water resource stability. In terms of energy, the project has installed 14 solar power systems with a total capacity of 2 megawatts, helping to reduce fossil fuel consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and save approximately 3,000,000 baht per year in common electricity costs.
In addition to infrastructure investment, Reignwood Park places great importance on creating a complete ecosystem surrounded by green spaces and over 10,000 trees of various species that help produce oxygen, improve air quality, and create an environment conducive to a good quality of life. The project also recycles leaf litter into compost and manages resources based on the principles of Circular Economy to balance urban development and environmental care.
In the future, Reignwood Park plans to evolve into a Fully Smart & Sustainable Community by expanding the solar power system, developing a Battery Energy Storage System, and exploring the use of smart technology in managing water and energy systems to enhance resource efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and support the development of Reignwood Park into a sustainable smart community. "Investing in infrastructure is laying the foundation for a strong city to grow. We are not just creating a residential project; we are building a community of the future that passes on a good quality of life to current and future generations," Ms. Vorapanit concluded.
