Land and House Donates Clear Plastic Water Bottles to Wat Chak Daeng for Recycling into Blankets
Mr. Narong Kongkawana (right of the monk), Assistant Managing Director of Customer Service and Relations at Land and House Public Company Limited, represented the residents of the Land and House project in donating approximately a full truckload of clear plastic water bottles, or PET bottles, to Phra Kru Bai Dika Tanuphat Achipanyo, a representative from Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan Province. The donation took place on June 25, with the intention of recycling the plastic into blankets for the needy and disadvantaged.

Land and House Public Company Limited invites residents from 12 projects to participate in the “Bottle Recycling” (ข.ขวด) initiative, which encourages the collection of used clear plastic water bottles or PET bottles to be donated to Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan Province. The goal is to recycle the plastic into blankets for the underprivileged. The purpose of the “Bottle Recycling” initiative is to promote waste separation at the source, support the proper reuse of recyclable materials, and foster collaboration and shared responsibility among residents. Clear plastic water bottles are the most popular beverage packaging, made from high-quality, lightweight, transparent, clean, and strong plastic that can be 100% recycled. Wat Chak Daeng serves as a model for sustainable waste management, transforming what many consider waste into something beneficial, aligning with the company's commitment to environmental sustainability by valuing resources and reducing the use of new materials. This event was held for the first time, with participating projects including MANTANA Bangna km 15, Anya Ratchaphruek-Nakhon In, Nanta Wan Pinklao-Ratchaphruek, Prueklada Ramintra-Chatuchak Expressway, Pruklada Ratchaphruek-345, Indy WESTGATE, Villaggio Rangsit-Klong 4, Villaggio 3 Srinakarin-Bangna, Villaggio Bangna, Villaggio 2 Srinakarin-Bangna, Villaggio Pinklao-Salaya, and Chaiyapruek Bangna km 15, all of which saw significant participation from residents bringing in used plastic water bottles.

On this occasion, the Customer Service and Relations staff at Land and House Public Company Limited donated 10,000 Baht to purchase 60 blankets for Wat Chak Daeng, which will distribute them to the needy and disadvantaged.
