N.C. Housing Public Company Limited operates in the real estate sector, both horizontal and vertical, under the concept of Home Expert Living Care, and is the first company in Thailand to receive ISO certification. The company is moving forward by partnering with RMUTT to implement the project “Clean Water Potential for Communities,” which serves as a pilot for ESG initiatives, emphasizing environmental sustainability and aiming to create a balance between residential project development and the surrounding community.

Dr. Somchai Tanthatherdtham, Chief Executive Officer of N.C. Housing Public Company Limited, discussed the collaboration with Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi on the water quality monitoring project, which stems from the idea of developing residential projects that focus not only on “building houses” but also on creating “a good quality of life” for every family, residents, and the surrounding community sustainably, while considering the environment around the project and neighboring communities. This partnership in water quality monitoring in housing projects reflects our commitment to raising the standards of public utility management. A good home is not just about beautiful design or a suitable location; it must be a space where residents can live confidently, safely, and in an environment conducive to long-term health. Therefore, this collaboration is not merely about measuring water quality to standards but also about creating a system for care and monitoring, enabling residents and the community to be aware of living together in balance, while also receiving knowledge transfer on sustainable water resource management from the team at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.

As a developer of horizontal housing projects in the northern zone under the N.C. brand, with a total of 12,187 families, we prioritize ESG under the concept of “Nc Well Living,” which aims to enhance the quality of life for communities in all dimensions, including environmental, health, and living conditions. We believe that “a good home starts with a good community and environment.” The development of cities and housing in the future must grow alongside social and environmental responsibilities. Finally, I would like to thank the research team and faculty members from the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT, and our partner teams for their efforts in bringing this excellent project to fruition. We sincerely hope that this collaboration will serve as a model for developing housing projects that care for both “the quality of life of residents” and “the sustainability of the community” simultaneously. Monitoring water quality is not just about managing public utilities; it is a crucial mechanism for promoting health, quality of life, and residents' confidence to create a livable and sustainably growing community.

Associate Professor Narit Baltip, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi added that the “Water Quality Monitoring” project is significant for academic and social services, playing a role in promoting, controlling, and monitoring water quality, and serves as an indicator of “clean water power for communities.” The operations under this project encompass systematic studies of monitoring and enhancing water quality within residential projects while creating knowledge on water resource management for maximum community benefit. The water quality assessment includes 1. Measurement of physical water quality, 2. Measurement of chemical water quality, and environmental water sources such as ponds, water bodies, or wastewater treatment systems. Under this project, researchers and experts from the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT, will jointly collect water samples and analyze water quality according to academic principles, bringing data to assess potential, which is a positive sign for creating a model for sustainable water management. We have received excellent cooperation from N.C. Housing, a large housing project developer, who prioritizes environmental care and enhancing the quality of life for residents to jointly create a stable and sustainable living society.
