National Housing Authority Prepares Residents Before Moving into the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project Phase 3, Building D2
Mr. Thaveepong Wichaiyadit, Governor of the National Housing Authority, revealed that the authority organized a preparatory meeting to create understanding about communal living in the new building for residents of the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project Phase 3, Building D2 (Buildings 47 - 52 and 6007). Four sessions were held to disseminate information regarding the rights to reside in Building D2. Those who waive their rights will receive a compensation of 400,000 baht for their rental rights. Additionally, the relocation plan was explained, with the National Housing Authority supporting moving costs for original residents who choose to move into the new project at 10,000 baht per household, as well as the lottery process for selecting floors, rooms, and confirming residency information. This is to ensure that the moving process into the new homes is as orderly and smooth as possible. The meetings took place on May 23-24, 2026, at the Ratchada Pisek Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Din Daeng District Office, Bangkok.

For the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project, Building D2 is designed as a 35-story residential building with 612 units, tailored to accommodate all resident groups, especially the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable populations, following the principles of Universal Design. Mr. Thaveepong stated that the National Housing Authority prioritizes community care at every stage to ensure that the move-in process is orderly, transparent, and maximally beneficial to the public. The authority is committed to developing the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project into a quality community that is stable, safe, and sustainably enhances the quality of life for its residents.

“The National Housing Authority aims to develop quality housing for all target groups, ensuring that everyone has access to stable housing and a good quality of life within a livable and sustainable community environment,” concluded the Governor of the National Housing Authority.
