Another significant event in the Thai basketball scene, TOA, the leading paint and construction materials company in Thailand and Southeast Asia, organized the world-class competition “NBA Rising Stars Invitational Thailand Qualifiers presented by TOA” for the first time in Thailand. This event aimed to select representatives from Thai young athletes to compete in the “NBA Rising Stars Invitational” in Singapore. A highlight of the event was the appearance of DeAndre Jordan, the legendary center from the New Orleans Pelicans and NBA 2023 champion, who engaged closely with sports fans. The event was elevated to a grand sports entertainment festival, featuring mini-concerts from artists MILLI, CIR*CRL, and BENZ Khaokwan, along with special performances from CU Performance and Next Idol Academy at the Chulalongkorn University Sports Complex on May 23-24, 2023, reflecting TOA's commitment to supporting the potential of Thai youth and continuously promoting Thai sports on the international stage.

Throughout the two-day competition, the atmosphere was filled with intensity and fierce games from the eight youth basketball teams from across the country. The female teams participating in this event included Wat Noi Nopkhun School, Thepsirin Samut Prakan School, Assumption Thonburi School, and Bualuang Witthayakhom School. The male teams included Kanchanapisek Chaiyaphum School, Ratchaburi Municipality Demonstration School, Nonthaburi Vocational College, and Thakham Phitthayakhom School. All teams showcased their skills to the fullest, from the knockout rounds on May 23, 2023, to the finals on May 24, 2023.

In summary, the male champion team was Assumption Thonburi School, defeating Nonthaburi Vocational College with a score of 74 - 47, while the female champion team was Wat Noi Nopkhun School, winning against Ratchaburi Municipality Demonstration School with a score of 104 - 68. Both teams will represent Thailand at the NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026 at OCBC Arena, Singapore, from June 23 – 28, 2026.

Additionally, TOA has raised the standard of sports event organization, creating an atmosphere of fun and sports entertainment with a full range of entertainment activities, including mini-concerts from artists MILLI, CIR*CRL, and BENZ Khaokwan, as well as showcasing cultural arts integrated with sports competitions through special performances from CU Performance and Next Idol Academy. There were also shooting challenges and numerous prizes for basketball fans attending the event. One of the most popular activities was the Jr. NBA Basketball Clinic, which allowed over 60 youth basketball players aged 13-15 to learn and practice skills closely with coaches from the NBA and the Thai national team, aiming to build a foundation, develop potential, and inspire Thai youth to confidently pursue their basketball journey.
