ALive Powered by AIA Partners with Vimut Hospital to Host Discussion on 'Stress Less, Happy More'
ALive Powered by AIA, a comprehensive health management application for physical, mental, and financial well-being by AIA Wellness, hosted a seminar and workshop under the theme 'Stress Less, Happy More.' The event aimed to address urban stress issues from various perspectives, including real-life experiences and medical viewpoints, in collaboration with Vimut Hospital. It provided insights into stress management and included artistic stress-relief workshops, concluding with a special segment 'ALive X Badmixy - La La…Let’s Go!' featuring a song created by artist and YouTuber 'Mix Badmixy' to inspire self-love and life design.

ALive and Vimut Hospital recognize the stress stemming from both work and personal issues that affect mental and physical health. Thus, they jointly opened the discussion 'Stress Less, Happy More' to understand and cope with stress appropriately. Excessive or prolonged stress can negatively impact physical and mental health, affecting daily life, work, and family relationships.

Mr. Juthapat Laothamthas, Director of Digital Solutions and Design at AIA Wellness, stated that the discussion 'Stress Less, Happy More' was initiated to communicate with all Thais facing stress, from mild to severe levels affecting mental health and daily life. Recognizing stress early and managing it independently can lead to greater happiness.

“The ALive application aims to comprehensively manage health—mental, physical, and financial—by developing features that help alleviate stress easily. For instance, the 'Mood Diary' feature allows users to track daily emotional changes. Additionally, there are simple meditation techniques and even a fortune-telling feature that can provide comfort. ALive places great importance on mental, physical, and financial health, continuously developing new features and updating diverse content to meet the needs of holistic health management,”

Dr. Penchan Ativaranapat, psychiatrist at Vimut Hospital, noted that stress is a normal occurrence for everyone, especially in the digital age with various stress triggers. Recognizing 'warning signs' is crucial, both physical and emotional. If one experiences chronic stress, it is advisable to consult a doctor for assessment and tailored support.
“Today's stress doesn't have to stem from major issues; often, it's the accumulation of small matters. The body usually sends signals before we realize we're stressed, such as headaches, neck tension, back pain, fatigue, insomnia, or loss of appetite. Initially, self-care can be simple, like exercising, meditating, or talking to trusted individuals. However, if one feels unwell for more than 1-2 weeks, it may indicate excessive stress. In cases of chronic stress, consulting a doctor is essential. Seeking medical help is not something to be ashamed of; it’s better to see a doctor early before stress impacts physical health and daily life,”
Meanwhile, “Kheun” Pattharadanai Setsuwan, an artist and psychotherapist who draws from real-life experiences to run the 'Pause for the Heart' project, emphasized the importance of 'listening' and creating a safe space for individuals to reconnect with their needs. He shared methods for managing stress that begin with acknowledging problems and listening to oneself more.

“Kheun believes that stress is not something we should 'run away' from, but rather something we need to 'acknowledge.' Every time we feel stressed, it’s a signal from our heart trying to tell us that 'we are not okay.' As a psychotherapist, Kheun has learned that stress doesn’t have to be viewed negatively or as a weakness; it’s an opportunity to pause, listen, and understand ourselves better. Personally, Kheun starts with 'acceptance' and allows time to care for his heart, engage in activities he enjoys, or spend time with family,”

In addition to providing insights and perspectives on stress management, the event featured workshops designed to deeply care for mental health through two activities focused on understanding and relaxation. The first was 'A True Understanding of Panic Attack,' led by Kheun, aimed at fostering a genuine understanding of panic disorders and techniques for coping with stress. The second was an art therapy activity 'Drawing the Rainbow,' conducted by art therapists from Vimut Hospital, helping participants reconnect with their breath through drawing, creating focus and relaxation, and reducing tension in both body and mind. Participants gained knowledge and accurate understanding of stress mechanisms and panic disorders, learned practical techniques for mental care, and experienced art therapy to relieve tension and foster self-love and happiness in life design.
Additionally, there was a special segment “ALive X Badmixy - La La…Let’s Go!” featuring a song created by renowned artist and YouTuber Mix Badmixy, conveying the message of self-love and new beginnings to spread positivity. Mr. Juthapat mentioned that inviting Mix to collaborate on the song aimed to communicate and uplift through music, as it is the most accessible medium for people and can energize listeners. Mix shared the inspiration behind the song 'La La…Let’s Go!' for ALive, combining his personal experiences with ALive's objective of promoting mental health.

“I would like to thank ALive for the opportunity to create the song 'La La…Let’s Go!' where I drew from my past experiences combined with ALive's objective of promoting mental health. The main message is to inspire that no matter what problems arise, everyone can start anew. Learning to love oneself is crucial. I want listeners to feel that life must go on; don’t think that encountering something negative will destroy you. Sometimes, it’s just about letting go and doing something good for yourself. Don’t take it too seriously; just 'La La' along and it’s okay. Enjoy every day,”
Finally, Mr. Juthapat emphasized that ALive is not just a 'health app' but a 'platform supporting quality of life in every dimension'—mental health, physical health, and financial health comprehensively. He reiterated the commitment to inspire Thais to take care of themselves to become the best version of themselves, aligning with ALive's concept of 'Be the Best Version of Yourself.' “Every time we care for our hearts, we are moving closer to 'the best version of ourselves.'”
