Beger Co., Ltd., led by Dr. Jarurat Chaiyosburanan, participated in the seminar summarizing the results of the greenhouse gas emission target-setting project for the industrial sector aiming for Net Zero through Science Based Targets (Phase 2), organized by the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or GHGMO.

Beger is currently the only paint brand in Thailand selected to participate in this project and has successfully developed a short-term greenhouse gas emission target plan under the guidance of the project advisory committee, reflecting its commitment to tangible and serious greenhouse gas reduction.

As the number one leader in eco-friendly paints, Beger not only focuses on developing environmentally friendly paint innovations but also aims to elevate the overall standards of the Thai construction industry, ensuring consumers benefit from safe products that minimize environmental impact, while serving as a model for other industries to embark on a sustainable development path together.

During the award ceremony for the pioneering organizations participating in the project, Dr. Nattharika Yayuphan, Deputy Director of the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) delivered a presentation and discussion led by Associate Professor Dr. Hanphol Phungrasi from the Center of Excellence in Ecological Economic Energy, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University, presenting the results of the pioneering industries and discussing lessons learned in setting Net Zero targets according to GHGMO guidelines.

Dr. Jarurat Chaiyosburanan stated, “Participating in this project reflects Beger’s stance as the first paint company and leader in eco-friendly paints. We are not only focused on developing our products but also on raising the standards of the entire construction industry to maximize benefits for consumers and society while seriously and tangibly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, serving as a concrete example.” This participation reinforces Beger’s proactive role in driving both the paint industry and Thailand towards the true goal of Net Zero. Beger has been in business for 65 years under the mission Eco-Wellness Innovation – Innovative Paints for a Greener World, being the first in Thailand to seriously develop heat-reflective paints and invest in technologies such as AVID, solar energy systems, and smart transportation to propel all processes towards Net Zero. Beger remains committed to being a true leader in “eco-friendly paints,” not just in reducing carbon numbers but in creating positive impacts on the world, people, and the future of the country in a tangible way.
