Beger Co., Ltd. continues its commitment to sustainability by signing a memorandum of understanding as a new member of the Construction and Environment Collaboration Initiative (CECI), a collaborative network in construction and the environment that unites stakeholders throughout the construction industry to drive Thailand towards the goals of a Circular Economy and Net Zero Emissions.

Dr. Worawat Chaiyosburan, Managing Director of Beger Co., Ltd., participated in the signing ceremony at the CECI Steering Committee Meeting No. 1/2026 held at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangna. This participation reflects Beger's commitment to being part of the movement to drive the Thai construction industry towards an environmentally friendly future.

Currently, CECI has over 42 member organizations covering all key sectors of the construction industry, including project developers, designers, material manufacturers, contractors, and waste management sectors. In 2026, six new organizations joined the network, and Beger is one of the organizations welcomed into this significant collaboration.

The CECI network was established under the concept “Collaborate • Innovate • Sustain”, aiming to foster collaboration between the public sector, private sector, and academia through the development of joint standards, resource and waste management according to Circular Economy principles, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of sustainable pilot projects to elevate the Thai construction industry to grow sustainably alongside environmental care.

Dr. Worawat Chaiyosburan stated, “Beger believes that achieving Climate Action and Net Zero goals cannot be accomplished by any single organization alone; it requires collaboration from all sectors within the construction industry ecosystem. Joining CECI is therefore another important step that opens opportunities for knowledge exchange, innovation development, and the creation of new standards together, to elevate the Thai construction industry towards a more sustainable future.”

As a leader in eco-friendly color and coating materials in Thailand, Beger continues to develop products and technologies that meet the needs of modern construction, including the BegerCool product line that helps reduce heat and energy consumption in buildings, and the Eco-Wellness Innovation Coatings technology that promotes quality of life and well-being within buildings. Additionally, Beger has received environmental certifications for Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) and Carbon Footprint for Product (CFP), as well as undertaking Circular Economy and Green Innovation projects in collaboration with various partners.

Joining the CECI network is thus another significant step for Beger in creating strategic partnerships to drive the transition of the Thai construction industry towards a Circular Economy, reduce environmental impacts, and sustainably support the country's Net Zero Future goals.
