Rainwood Foundation Donates Over 3.2 Million Baht in Medical Equipment and Supplies to Support Soldiers and Border Communities
The Rainwood Foundation (Thailand) reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility by donating cash, medical equipment, and essential supplies worth over 3,200,000 baht to assist soldiers and civilians affected by the situation along the Thai-Cambodian border, as well as those working in high-risk areas and flood victims in the northern provinces of Phrae and Nan. Ms. Warapanit Ruayrungreung, Vice Chairperson of the Rainwood Foundation (Thailand), represented the foundation in the donation, which was received by Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister acting on behalf of the Prime Minister. All donations will be forwarded to the Prime Minister's Office Disaster Relief Fund to alleviate the hardships of the people and support the missions of officials in border areas.

In addition to the cash and essential supplies, the Rainwood Foundation has also supported public health missions in vulnerable areas by providing necessary medical tools to hospitals in border regions facing shortages. This includes a defibrillator with an oxygen extraction tube valued at 350,000 baht donated to Nam Yuen Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani to assist patients in cardiac arrest or emergency situations, and a large-screen heart rate and vital signs monitor valued at 280,000 baht donated to Samrong Thap Hospital in Surin to enhance the efficiency of patient diagnosis and care.

Ms. Warapanit Ruayrungreung stated: This support is part of the Rainwood Foundation's intention to stand by Thai society in all situations, especially for those serving to protect the country and the affected citizens. The assistance in terms of funding, medical equipment, and essential supplies will truly alleviate hardships and boost morale for everyone in high-risk areas, including those facing floods in Phrae and Nan provinces.

Throughout the years, the Rainwood Foundation (Thailand) has continuously engaged in social activities covering public health, education, promoting sports culture, supporting community quality of life development, and assisting disaster and emergency victims, aiming to create positive and sustainable outcomes for Thai society.
