Major Development Partners with Bangkok to Launch Proactive Campaign on Pet Control Regulations
Major Development Public Company Limited, a leader in luxury real estate development and pet-friendly condominiums (Pet Family Residences), is taking the lead as the first real estate company to collaborate with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Public Health Veterinary Office to initiate a proactive campaign on the Bangkok Ordinance on the Control of Pet Ownership and Release, B.E. 2567, which will come into effect in January 2569. The campaign will kick off at Major Development's projects through the “Hug & Heal Road Show”, offering free microchipping services for dogs right at the project sites. This initiative aims to raise awareness and promote responsible pet ownership within the community, as well as to establish a central database for tracking, caring for, and assisting in cases of lost pets or emergencies.

Mr. Chawalit Worasarnpisut, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and Services at Major Development Public Company Limited, stated, “For the past 26 years, Major has been a leader in developing pet-friendly residential projects, with over 60 projects. We prioritize responsible coexistence, and this roadshow to disseminate information and provide microchipping services in collaboration with the Bangkok Public Health Veterinary Office is a significant first step in proactive communication. It ensures that residents receive accurate and complete information about the pet control regulations. This initiative is another way to promote a well-ordered living community, fostering mutual understanding and addressing residents' concerns effectively. Major is honored to be recognized by the Bangkok Public Health Veterinary Office as a representative of the private real estate sector in driving responsible pet ownership in urban communities.”

The “Hug & Heal Road Show” will continue to be held across Major Development's residential projects in Bangkok, with officials and veterinarians from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration participating to provide knowledge and microchipping services, along with rabies vaccinations, ensuring close supervision.
