INSEE Light Building Materials (INSEE LBM), a subsidiary of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited, is set to unveil its innovative construction materials of the future under the concept of "Sustainable Building Materials for Meaningful Design" at the "Architect '68" event, the largest architecture and construction technology exhibition in ASEAN, taking place from April 29 to May 4, 2025, at Impact Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani.

During the event, INSEE LBM collaborates with three affiliated business units: the Mortar Business Unit, Insee Superblock Co., Ltd., and Conwood Co., Ltd., to present sustainable development and production approaches for construction materials, focusing on innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Mr. Hemant Mudgel, Chief Executive Officer of INSEE LBM, stated, "INSEE LBM prioritizes sustainability in every aspect, from raw materials and production processes to the actual use by consumers. We see the Architect event as an opportunity to exchange ideas with designers and listen to market feedback to enhance our product development comprehensively."

INSEE LBM's sustainable business approach follows the ESG Model (Environmental, Social, Governance), including the use of recycled materials, reducing waste from production processes, and continuously promoting green construction solutions. Products from the Conwood brand have received environmental certification from international institutions, such as the Singapore Green Label and green industry standards, and are in the process of obtaining the Thailand Green Label certification.

Additionally, the Mortar Business Unit is the first manufacturer of ready-mixed cement in Thailand to receive the "Green Label" certification for its ready-mixed cement products across five models: general plaster (Insee Mortar 11), fine plaster (Insee Mortar 12), lightweight block plaster (Insee Mortar 13), concrete surface plaster (Insee Mortar 15), and general mortar (Insee Mortar 21). "We are committed to developing construction materials that not only meet functional needs but are also environmentally friendly and enhance the quality of life for people in the long term," Mr. Hemant added.

Highlights of new products at the event include:

  • Conwood Deck Core: A new flooring product with enhanced structural strength, reducing the need for supporting structures, saving materials, and increasing durability.
  • Insee Mortar: Launching a new product line, Waterproof Solution, for comprehensive leak prevention, and Floor Solution, featuring the thinnest leveling product on the market at just 1 millimeter.
