National Housing Authority Reports Surge in Ayutthaya Rental Building Reservations (Rojana) to 351 Units Near Economic Hub
Mr. Thaveepong Wichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority, revealed that the current economic situation in Thailand remains volatile, and the cost of living is rising. However, in industrial estates where new factories are being established, there has been an increase in labor demand, with workers preferring rental accommodations over purchasing homes. This is primarily because most workers are migrants from other provinces. As a result, the rental housing project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (Rojana) Phase 1, located near the Rojana Industrial Estate, serves as a significant economic center surrounded by markets, shopping malls, hospitals, and educational institutions. The area offers convenient access to major roads, meeting the housing needs of local workers, leading to 351 units being reserved for rent, which accounts for 79.59% of the total 441 units available.

The rental housing project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (Rojana) Phase 1 is located in Ban Sang Sub-district, Bang Pa-in District, Ayutthaya Province. It consists of 4-story residential buildings on over 9 rai of land, with living spaces of approximately 28 square meters across 9 buildings, totaling 441 units. The rental rates range from 1,500 to 1,900 baht per month, with a security deposit of one month and one month’s rent paid in advance. Each room/contract allows for one tenant with a monthly income not exceeding 30,000 baht and a family size of no more than 4 people per room. Rental contracts can be signed for a maximum of 3 years. Currently, there are 351 interested reservations, with keys to be handed over to tenants from March 21 to 23, 2025. Those who did not register online can sign contracts in person (Walk-in) on March 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, those who sign rental contracts during the opening period from March 21-23, 2025, will receive a special promotion of a 200 baht discount on rent for 6 months.

Mr. Thaveepong stated that the highlight of the rental buildings in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (Rojana) is their proximity to community areas, with designs suitable for all target groups. Particularly on the first floor, the National Housing Authority prioritizes rental rights for the elderly and disabled, incorporating facilities that cater to daily living needs, such as wheelchair ramps, sliding bathroom doors, grab bars for support, and shower seating. Furthermore, the project includes ample parking, CCTV surveillance, and security personnel monitoring the premises 24 hours a day.

The rental housing project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (Rojana) is garnering significant interest from the public. The National Housing Authority also has 18 other rental projects available across various regions, including Bangkok (Phra Phra Ruang Prasith), Samut Sakhon (Krathum Baen 3), Lampang, Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Nayok, Chonburi, Rayong (Tha Pradu), Prachinburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakham, Surin (Salakdai), Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Surat Thani, and Songkhla (Hat Yai).
