Mr. Anantakorn Amornwatee, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA), revealed that the overall home building market in the country for 2024 is valued at approximately 211 billion baht, divided by region: Bangkok and its vicinity account for 24.37% with a value of 51,421 million baht, while the provinces account for 75.63% with a value of 159,579 million baht, distributed across all regions of the country.

The home building market by region in 2024 is as follows:
1. Northeastern region 18.76% valued at 39,584 million baht, with the largest market in Nakhon Ratchasima, followed by Khon Kaen and Buriram.
2. Southern region 16.83% valued at 35,511 million baht, with Songkhla being the largest market, followed by Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phuket.
3. Northern region 15.72% valued at 33,169 million baht, with the largest self-built home market in Chiang Mai, followed by Lampang and Chiang Rai.
4. Eastern region 12.58% valued at 26,544 million baht, with Chonburi having the largest market, followed by Rayong and Chachoengsao.
5. Western region 7.52% valued at 15,867 million baht, with Ratchaburi being the largest market, followed by Prachuap Khiri Khan and Phetchaburi.
6. Central region 4.22% valued at 8,904 million baht, with Saraburi being the largest market, followed by Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Lopburi.

Meanwhile, the market value of home building for association members is approximately 10 billion baht, which remains stable due to a lack of clear supporting factors, such as attractive interest rates, consumer confidence in the economic situation, and rising household debt.
